not our fault they all want out

    Western Force - 2016

I agree with the lineup above. Taps looked good playing 13 in the baa baas game and Godwin has played better at 12 than 13 so that should be the combo. There must be a better option that Junior on the wing though that we can sign. Lachie Turner, Tom English, Cam Crawford as examples would...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

As has been mentioned the only logical explanation is the theory that he wants 2 full starting 15's to train against each other in game situation (plus 1 extra prop). If he took an extra hooker instead of a winger then the opposed training would have been unbalanced with a hooker on the wing.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Ok then so if McMahon wasn't selected then who plays openside against Fiji and Uruguay? Do you not remember the last world cup?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Seems like overkill taking 5 wingers. Maybe Speight will play 13 against Uruguay or something. Kuridrani and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) can't start every game.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

When you think logically then McMahon had to go (or G Smith, Gill or Hodgson). If Pocock and Hooper are going to start together in the big games then you need an openside to play against Fiji and Uruguay.

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Great, so Beale will play at 12 this game, we will probably win by 30 or more points and it will make him look good in the process. What about Lilo at 12 Cheika, that is someone you haven't tried???

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I think JOC (James O'Connor) or Luke Jones would be the only possible smokeys but they would have to be extremely unlikely.

    Western Force - 2016

You are only forgetting the best player of the whole lot - Hodgo. He makes such a difference when he plays. Hodgo at 7 and Cottrell to the bench but injuries will play a role as always. Not that Pyle has actually signed yet!

    Reds 2016

I think you guys are dreaming if you think O'Connor will still be there next year. He definitely does not seem to be the guy to stick around when the going gets tough and with no World Cup to play for. Not sure of the intricacies of his contract but I would bet on him going overseas or 7s

Pumas vs Wallabies, 25th July 2015, Mendoza

Could Fardy be a realistic option for second row, eg 4. Simmons 5. Fardy 6. Pocock 7. Hooper 8. McCalman 19. Skelton 20. Higgers Gives 3 jumpers until Skelton comes on. Pocock and Hooper to play left and right instead of open and blind. Not sure the scrum will be strong enough though?

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

I am starting to like the balance of this backrow now.... Higgers, Pocock, McCalman. With Hooper replacing McCalman at 50/60 and Higgers going to number 8.

    RWC Squads

Thought Marcel Brache from the Force could have been a chance as well. Has been playing well.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

What do we think of Mitchell's chances? All the talk was about Gits and Drew didn't seem a chance but now after scoring a great try in a big final he surely has put his name forward. Plus with the other wingers not really setting the world on fire he must be a chance. eg I would have him...

Chiefs v Force Round 11 in Cowtown

I agree except I would prefer Brache at 13 or maybe even give Cummins a shot at 13 and see what he can actually do if he touches the ball. Morahan on the other wing or even give the Japanese bloke a go. Nothing to lose now. Wykes to the bench also.

    France v Australia

I just want to see this at some stage before the world cup. This is the best we could have assuming all players in top form. 9 Genia 10 Cooper 11 O'Connor 12 Lilo/To'omua 13 Kuridrani 14 Speight 15 Folau 21 Phipps 22 Foley/ Lilo/To'omua 23 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)/Hunt

    Team of the Championship

Kurindrani would be only other wallaby worthy of a look in but he missed the first few games and Conrad Smith has been pretty awesome, especially last weekend
  18. Mr Pilfer

    Kurtley Beale

Let's not forget he may have been dropped for form reasons not disciplinary reasons. He played very ordinary on the weekend and he has basically been replaced with Hodgson for a better balance which a lot of people called for before this incident. I haven't read anything official confirming he...

Yes all true but it is nice to speculate and to see some good talent coming through.
