    NSW AAGPS 2019

Newington is very proud of Cameron Murray's achievements and post about him regularly. From all reports a great kid who works his arse off . He was a league player first and the school took advantage of his skill. Same with a lot of the other kids. We see league raiding rugby schools but it is...

New beat Knox, Knox beat Joeys, Joeys beat Scots, Scots thumped New, Joeys beat Waves. Does that mean if Knox beat Scots they are GPS/CAS premiers?!?!:) Knox forwards are large so Scots might need a Plan B.

    CAS 2019

Newington were deserved winners. The Knox brand of rugby that they have stuck to for years is plodding 10 man rugby. Pods of forwards standing off the 5/8 getting picked apart by a very committed Newington back row (especially the No.6) who knew exactly where the ball was going every time. Helen...

Former Knox boy and Australian schoolboy Nick Frost just signed with Brumbies after 2 years with Crusaders. Serious talent.

It is also the Knox Gala day so should be a big day at Wahroonga. The Knox 13-15As are looking to see how they are tracking against strong Newington teams before more tough GPS trials against Scots and Joeys i believe. Most interesting will be who new Knox teacher and multi-decade legendary...

What happened to the big Newington/Aus schoolboy prop Opeti Helu 2016? His highlight reel is spectacular and I keep waiting to see his name in rep sides but there has been nothing.

    CAS 2018

I saw Shore was crowing about winning all but 4 games across the grades. Is there depth in the Trinity programme or was it just the random D grade game that they got up in? Shore did also win 15 out of 24 against Knox.

On a different note. I saw the Kings 13As on the weekend. Outstanding rugby from a couple of big skilful props and very classy, (although large) outside backs. Will be a team to watch over the next few years. From talking to some sideline parents they have wracked up hundreds of points and not...

Thanks WLF. I know Joeys 13s dusted Auggies by 50+ and Shore did the same to Knox. However, apparently Kings has a mortgage on half of last years PSSA team. Knox plays Kings, iggies and joeys in the next few weeks so could be a good tester. Newington's 14s were outstanding last year in the 13s.

Any idea who is impressing in the juniors? I hear both Kings and Joeys have super strong u13s and 14s. It is great to see schools pulling out 5-6 teams in these age groups.

How many of this years crop of players are already contracted to league clubs next year and will it affect their rep chances? Watching Crighton, Moroea, Milne etc run around in league is frustrating but from what i understand there is a tide of GPS boys being locked into league from an early...

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2013

Are both boys definately lost to Rugby? Wasn't Moarea in the youth 7s team last year? Also isn't Lussick sign to the mungoes as well? Maybe they are chasing some development that the ARU just can't support. Lutunipulu came out of school as one of the best centres in recent times and has since...
