When Barker play Knox it is for the Headmasters Cup, which takes in all games. Barker could only field 15 teams, Knox won 13 of those games losing (i believe) the 13Bs and the 1st XV. Apparently for 9 of the Barker boys in the firsts their parents don't have to open their wallets for fees. CAS...

Has Max gone to the dark side? What about Oscar?

Knox will be very strong up front with Goddard, Mckinnon, Morrison, Ericsson and Jay Harris etc. Backs could be the weakness with no size at all. Barker recruited a few this year who will return but losing katoa will hurt bad. Such a calm influence on his team and the ability to kick them out of...

Knox dominated them at scrum time on the weekend as well.

Surprised by the number of Cranbrook boys in CAS as they have been belted two weeks in a row. CAS should keep it in the forwards. How are the scrums Joker, CAS No.1 is year 11 but super strong.

    Any scrum action?

When I was at New we had students from Minto Heights, innner city, north shore to Wollongong and up to Berowra. Makes it hard to coral everyone, especially for away games. Unlike Shore and Scots etc where everyone lives in the same suburb and have similar cousins the Newington diaspora is huge...

Agreed. Great player and captained Manly to win at State last year and got MOTM in final.

So they chose everybody? That will make preparing a team easy. CAS took 25 boys, solid mix from all schools and a number playing 1sts.

CAS U16s. Word from the trials is a number were preselected and didn't have to do anything. Surprising Knox seem to be the leading team and have limited numbers. Fair spread from the schools though. First Name Surname School Daniel Christodoulou Trinity Grammar School 1 Max...

So the Knox front row didn’t smash waves in the scrum?? Must have watched a different game.

I believe that Warringah team is coached by Luke Holmes.

Knox have moved former 1st XV coach Tai Glassie to the U13s to build from the bottom so a very positive move. This U16 group i believe got belted when in the u13s but have grown together, not sure if they play club or not. Overall coaching and program still needs tonnes of work but numbers are...

Jay Harris playing 2s at Knox and getting game time in 1sts in the 2nd row is eligible as well.

Knox 16As were unlucky to lose to Joeys by 2 points and beat Newington, so some talent there, especially in the backrow i believe. Think they hammered Cranbrook last week.

    NSW AAGPS 2022

Its not just NRL, its the feeder clubs, SG Ball etc They hook them in early and have room to give contracts to everyone, they have hundreds of opportunities, tonnes of cash, and they are willing to spend on dozens of players just to find one Cameron Murray, Katoa or Sua'ali'i. Money talks and...

Id say Katoa and Archie Saunders are locked in and i would be surprised if Jarrah isnt at 12. Knox No.8 will be hard to beat as well. Front row will be interesting as i beieve there are Y11 boys in most teams.

Tunui Jorgenson at 1 for New is a very tough player and Taukumao on the wing is outstanding, although O Jorgenson has got one wing locked up.

If they have signed for a NRL club why waste the space in a Union pathways programme for someone that isn't going to keep playing? Give it to someone who is committed to rugby.
