What a disappointment it will be for long suffering BBC fans if State High don’t allow the game on Friday to be live streamed. Maybe a special case could be made as it sounds a real shame that the final game and the handing out of the premiership trophy won’t be shown!

I overheard Annan say he was right for this weekend last Saturday. Hope that is true. BBC just need to overcome the loss of two front rowers and number 8 from earlier in the season.

Would be good if supporters other than BBC voiced their opinions and talked their teams up more on this forum. Some schools seem to have no input here, so would be greet for everyone to chip in and make things more interesting. However I don’t think us BBC supporters have been over the top...

Big game BBC v Nudgee coming up. Real shame for BBC that no crowds are allowed this year. That was set for round 9 at home on Miskin on old boys day. Would have been huge. Feel sorry for all the year 12’s this year.

Seriously why would they not just play the extra rounds for 1st XV only at beginning of Term 4. Or start the season on time with uncontested scrums for the first couple of rounds. Bloody ridiculous!

So if understand correctly, they will play rounds 4-9 as normal, then round one is played on the Saturday of the first day of school holidays at the end of term 3. Won’t this mean some teams will play 6 rounds and a bye, but some teams will play 7 competition rounds. Very uneven competition by...

How do they propose to fit 9 rounds in starting on August 1? Last day of term is September 18, 8 weeks later. Games over holidays or in Term 4?

I agree with Aussie Luke on this one. Been watching school boy rugby since the late 80’s, crowds and atmosphere at most games are larger now. Plus the regular print media stories, and exposure from double take sports, and onion tv etc. it seems to me that school boy rugby gets more interest...

QRU has said the aim for community rugby is training to resume from June 1, with games from July 1. Looks like the season will go ahead with round 1 on July 18, but crowds looking very unlikely you would have to think. Be a real shame for the kids and the supporters to not be able to attend games.

Feel for all the boys in year 12 this year. The whole season has to be in some doubt at this stage. Those boys in year 12 are having one of the best years of their lives ruined at this stage! I really hope that we can get a season of rugby in later in the year!

Unfortunately the best kicker was actually the 4th choice, Lucas Ripley. Drahm went through 3 kickers the week before against IGS and the first 2 who were the same as TSS were way off target that day against IGS. Ripley took the last kick against IGS and kicked it down the middle...
