Sorry Dizzie, how could I be honest. GPS to win by 22 and will take out the club championship! It is going to take a while for the club to rebuild, I will still be spilling my rum and coke on Saturday down at Yoku supporting the club.

Well said Paty, hopefully it's not taken the wrong way by some viewers. Ashgrove had an internal trial on Sunday. Any other trial news?

Judging by GPS preseason form, they will be lucky to finish the season away from the bottom of the ladder.

Sorry Lute but you are looking at it the wrong way. All of these schools are based on certain values and mateship. That is why we send our kids to them. The boys who chose to stay at their original school do so because they value what they have. It is not to say that that they won't find the new...

Blue and White- maybe you should ask the boys who have declined sporting scholarships from Ashgrove over the last two years as to why they chose to stay at Ashgrove. It has a lot to do with mateship and values. Good luck to the scholarship boys, each to their own.

Ashgrove is playing in the Confraternity Shield in the June holidays, as well as St Edmonds, St Patrick's, Iona and Padua. At this stage there isn't word re the Broncos Cup. Rugby will still be played in Term 2, if they decide to incorporate RL into program next year it will be in Term 3. I...

Eventually you will have multiple scholarship boys playing in the 2nds in the GPS comp. Wouldn't it be better for the depth of Australian rugby to have a strong GPS competition as well as AIC/Tas and state school system. Australia draws upon the majority of its national players from a few...

Spot on GO about the need to improve the way the AIC schools go about their business. From a Ashgrove perspective, the arrival of Dave Miles to the school has seen instant success on a national level in athletics, hopefully when he takes over the Firsts next year there will be an improvement in...

I don't think too many of these boys would have been on academic scholarships. As someone from a non private school environment I find it a little bit amusing watching the arms race that is the GPS sporting scene. Not a point just an opinion.

Of course it's not correct. However, they will need a salary cap within the GPS competition soon its that crazy.

If Tom O'Toole is staying at Ulster next year, that is a huge loss for Padua. Any ideas on the Marist side?
