    Queensland Reds 2024

Hopefully they go back to navy shorts next year. Not a big fan of the white shorts.

    Queensland Reds 2024

Any big name tight five forwards off-contract next year which the Reds should be targeting? I think the prop stocks and depth is a particular concern.

    Week 8 - Waratahs vs Force - Saturday 15 April @ 7:35pm

Force looked real good towards the end of the game.

    Moana v Reds 14/4

Definitely looked like it was a bad read by Creighton in defence for that Moana try. Just had to trust his outside (Campbell?) and not take the bait.

    Brumbies v Drua 14/4/23 @7.35pm

Brumbies seemed off their game tonight. Even though they got the win, they made quite a few uncharacteristic errors (e.g. missed lineouts and knock-ons).

    Moana v Reds 14/4

Reds looked much more direct especially in the first half with forwards actually running onto the ball at pace and getting over the advantage line. The set piece also looked much better. It looked like they really stripped back their game plan and focussed on getting the basics right this week...

    Moana v Reds 14/4

I really do hope the Reds turn up for this game after what happened last week.

    Moana v Reds 14/4

JOC (James O'Connor) at 12 defensively might be a bit of a concern, especially with Levi Aumua as the opposing 13.

    Queensland Reds 2024

What are the chances of getting Ewen McKenzie back? Has he closed the door on coaching for good? Would be good to have him (one of the best rugby brains in recent times) back at Ballymore.

    Queensland Reds 2024

Are there any promising locks, props running around in QPR that might be worth a look in? Tight 5 a huge concern for the reds and will continue to be unless they find some players with firepower to build their pack around. Smith and Nonggorr the only tight 5 forwards who deserve their spot...

    Round 7: Reds v Brumbies - Friday April 7 @ Suncorp 7:35pm

Interested to know the thinking behind starting Phransis ahead of Nonggorr and Ryan Smith on the bench when he’s been a clear standout.

    Reds 2023

Interesting to see Doran reporting that Creighton will be starting this week instead of JOC (James O'Connor).

    Wallabies 2023

Wilson deciding to go to France must be almost a certainty now.

    Wallabies 2023

So what does Wilson have to do to make the squad? He leads the comp for carries, second most run metres and his work off the ball is off the charts.

    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Why play Vunivalu when he's not 100% / not willing to get out of second gear. Given both Jock and Petaia have to start, I'd play Daugunu instead, prone to penalties and errors but at least he goes hard. I'd be also be inclined to give Lynagh a start if available next week with JOC (James O'Connor) dropping to...

    Reds 2023

Tupou has been posting some stuff on his socials and it looks like he's moving and recovering well from his injury. Is there any chance he could be back and available in the back end of the season OR have they completely ruled him out of featuring for the Reds this year?

    Rebels v Reds 25/03 @ AAMI

Ryan Smith had a blinder of a game.

    Reds 2023

Looks like Isaac Henry is back training. He must be close to being available. Would be good to also have Blyth and/or Jones back soon. And as much as I like Uru, I think he is better utilised in the back row. According to Wiki, he’s only 104kg which is at least 10kg lighter than most second...

    Reds 2023

Didn't know he was starting his 2024 role early.

    Brumbies v Moana 7.35pm 18/3/23

Anyone know what the crowd number was tonight? Looked to be pretty empty. Those crowd numbers must be a concern for the Brumbies.
