    Reds vs Brumbies - Rd 5, 2015

    Highlight: Gill flipping White.

    Reds vs Brumbies - Rd 5, 2015

My theory is that the the Reds would have gotten a huge wake up call / reality check from their dismal performance against the Tahs. Similar to how they would've felt after Rd 1 vs Brumbies. The leverage generated by disappointment combined with a desire for redemption should (hopefully) make...

    Reds 2015

Regardless of injuries, the players that take to the field need to know their role. This is professional rugby not schoolboys. E.g. Off a linneout, phase 1: Hit Gill or Ant in midfield. Phase 2: forwards around the corner, attacking the same way with on-off forward runners, Genia hitting Kotze...

    Reds 2015

For the Reds to turn their season around it will be a matter of adding structure to their game. On second viewing of the Tahs game, it looked like a game of shift the ball aimlessly and hope for the best without any game plan whatsoever. What ever happened to earning the right to go wide after a...

Reds v Waratahs, round 4, Saturday 7 March

Why was JOC (James O'Connor) named at 10 in the team announcement on Thursday?

Reds v Waratahs, round 4, Saturday 7 March

I don't understand the reasoning that goes into making such drastic changes right before a game.

Reds v Waratahs, round 4, Saturday 7 March

Another disappointment from last night: JOC (James O'Connor)'s goal kicking. Looking forward to QC (Quade Cooper) returning for the lions match.

Reds v Waratahs, round 4, Saturday 7 March

I don't blame you. Was a nightmare to watch. Absolutely the polar opposite of the Reds plated up in the '10-'12 days.

That was directed at CFS wasn't it? After dropping the pass from Taps. Was a bit harsh in my opinion. Marto does seem to have random no filter moments where he just says whatever.

Karmichael Hunt charged with cocaine supply.

Likely yes. You'd think the contract would impose obligations on the player, the breach of which would allow QRU to terminate the contract. Apparently he has pleaded guilty to a lesser offence - it doesn't look promising for him to stay at the Reds, in my opinion... But then again there's the...

Kerevi is injured, as per the article on the Reds website. 'Ben Tapuai returning from injury to replace Samu Kerevi who has not recovered from a cork suffered last week.'

I have a gut feeling that the Reds might get up for this one. Reds by 3

Reds v Waratahs, round 4, Saturday 7 March

He gets help from the rugby version of Victoria's Secret, aka shoulder pads. He looks bulkier than what he actually is and I think he's a small prop by Super Rugby standards. I'm sure he can move some heavy iron, but doesn't mean sh*t if his scrum technique is not up to scratch.

Latest out of the Reds camp. Hopefully they bring their A game come Saturday.

Whether to fast track Tapuai into the starting XV or not? To be honest, given Fainga'a's poor performance v Highlanders I'd be inclined to give the 12 jersey to Tapuai. Hoping to see JOC (James O'Connor) move to the outside backs so he can work his magic with more room, with Frisby slotting in at 10. Unless...

Highlanders v Reds Super Rugby 2015 Rnd 3

To be honest Frisby looked like a better distributor than JOC (James O'Connor) especially when distributing wide with long cut out passes. Around the 70' mark, some of those passes almost had a QC (Quade Cooper) feel to them, zip and accuracy. I'd start him next week, with JOC (James O'Connor) to a roving wing role.

JOC (James O'Connor) has looked dangerous.
