I'm not at all saying Foley is a crap player. Hes a great runner of the ball, brilliant Support player, Solid defensively, well disciplined, good distributor and a decent goal kicker. i was simply pointing out that from a statistical stand point Cooper is better in most categories. Just because...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

i did say that i didnt have the goakicking stats, i was stating what TWAS said above and i didnt even bother to check what he said i was ust trying to remember from the top of my head. however since its been brought up i found the kicking percentage for Foley on a great site called...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

i cant get those stats off ESPN Scrum because they only tell me how many kicks have been made and what sort of kick it was, but it doesnt say how many were attempted. i believe TWAS posted the kicking stats earlier though which had Cooper at 72% and Foley at 75% ( if i remember correctly) which...

These are Bernard Foleys Stats for his 35 games. once again there is of course a margin of error but they should still paint a reasonably accurate picture. Bernard Foley Test Stats Win percentage: 52.85% Tries: 9 Try Assists: 9 = 0.25 per game Metres Run: 991 = 28.31 per game Linebreaks...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

OK so i just wasted an hour and a half compiling Quade Coopers Test Stats off of ESPN Scrum. for all stats except Tries and Win percentage only 60 games out of Coopers 62 were counted as there were 2 games against Italy where there were no stats available which is probably bad for Quade since...

Does anyone have an actual statistical comparison of cooper v foley for their entire test careers? I know stats dont paint the full picture but at least they are objective

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

. Our starting scrum got dicked the 1st two tests of the rugby championship and Slipper came on and stabilised it. Sio wasnt dropped then. and Robertson was the cause of as many problems as Slips was . It seems absolutely ridiculous to drop one of the best wallaby forwards in the past 5 years...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

I really hope slipper hasnt been dropped long term for either Ala'alatoa or Robertson. He had an average outing on the weekend but when compared to most of sios average games this year at test level it seems pretty unfair to drop him after one poor performance off the bench. i think people are...

    Reds 2017

i dont know why Slipper would be benched. the fact that hes being benched right now doesnt even make sense. i reckon if Tupou keeps developing he could easily be our Test Tighthead as soon as the spring tour next year. his running game is great, he puts some big hits on in defence and based on...

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Dont know what Latu has done this season that sets him ahead of Ready. I thought he had an average season this year. Maybe basing it on last years form or looking for a more like-for-like replacement for Taf?

    Reds 2017

I know its too late and doesnt really add to the conversation but i still think gilly would have been a great captaincy choice. for next year i would prefer slips to keep his captaincy with simmo and Quade being the VCs

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

whats Jono Lances chances of making the squad? i know he didnt play that many games this year but i thought the games he did play in he was great. and we certainly need a 3rd option for flyhalf

i dont know why Staniforth would come in when Neville, Enever and Carter have all played more often, played well and consistently and would warrant selection ahead of him. he a great prospect but we havent seen enough of him to pick him ahead of a few other players.
