RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

Quoting Hugh Jarse. "Jeffrey Sayle would approve if it was a thick black Tooheys Old!" I think his mother would have been the only one game enough to call him Jeffrey.

    7s Competitions

I see from twitter that Sunnybank beat Australia to take the Central Coast 7's in NSW. yesterday. 20k prizemoney. Not a bad start to the 7's circuit.

I do believe they do but how many and how much lesser quality players get I dont know. I have heard of some players being offered $8k for the season, but they have to be of super 15 quality. You will also find that the Sydney clubs charge admission and have done so for decades. So for...

Correct - S/bank have used 42 players. Injuries are a fact of life when playing a contact sport.

Unfortunately the QRU has it wrong then. I checked with the team manager and it is definitely in the team book as S Suniula. But I can understand where the error has occurred with 10 and 11 being so close together, and the players having similar sounding names.

Not to be too pedantic but it was Shalom Suniula the 5/8 who scored 2 tries, not Shane Seuili, the winger.

Jets - I tend to agree, especially seeing the Easts coach is coaching this team. But it is the "President's XV" so perhaps he had no say in the selections!! Queensland XV Squad 1. JP Smith (GPS) 2. Andrew Coady (Brothers) 3. Albert Anae (Sunnybank) 4. David McDuling (Uni) 5. Tim Buchanan...

GPS play Wests /Nths /Sths so the maximum points they can finish on is 64. Highly unlikely they'll lose all three games. Nths game the troublesome one I think. Easts play Uni /Filth / Bank - finish between 59-74 points. If they only win one, they could miss out especially if it is not a BP win...

The 10 for the bank is Shalom Sunila, just returned from trialling for the RWC USA Eagles squad. He played 7's for the USA team. (Un)fortunately he missed selection.
