Filth - correct and guys who played that day still have difficulty talking about it. I enjoy tough hard rugby as well as everybody else, but the line has been drawn by the game administrators in Qld. If it helps eliminate the "cheap shot merchants" I am all for it.

And we moved to Launceston 12 months ago!!

Filth, The one punch and your off rule has been in place in QLD rugby for more than a decade. So all players should be aware of it by now. I'm sure the parents and players who played with Andrew Hahn (Sunnybank Colts 1995) would disagree - one punch next your dead. Always missed but remembered...

Whilst it is every players dream to represent their state and country, one of the coveted awards at the bank is the Andrew Hahn award. This is presented to players who have played juniors/colts/premiers. Who is Andrew Hahn - I'm sure some long time followers of brisbane rugby can tell us.

He (Mitch Wenck) kicked a goal after the bell (i think) to a win in last year's 3rd grade G/Final. It was back to back for that grade/team.

I agree - things haven't changed by the sounds of it. I remember a couple of years ago when they were on the wrong end the scoreboard a lone voice came from the bleechers " You're a cheating C_ _ t ref".
