    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

From what I saw no real big errors but he lacked the flair which he had in all the games I've seen him play before. Seemed too absorbed in the spotlight but didn't make any real problems. He let a ball bounce which ultimately led to what I think was the GT try as he was isolated. Can't blame...

I'm not too sure about why BGS put Forsyth in the team v GT above the likes of Zac Laud when he has no experience in the Firsts. Sure, he played some great games in the 16 A's and has the speed, but he, unlike Marsden, doesn't make up for his size in defense. I kept hoping every time the ball...

Yep, it's been 20 years since BGS had any premiership in the 1st XV and 40 years since an outright. Seems like there needs to be a shakeup in GPS rugby. I hope too that TGS have a big turn around as they haven't won a premiership since 1956 or an outright one since 1948. I've been disappointed...

Possibility that he would be on the bench then run on at half time to replace any weak forward. He has told me he is keen to play and position in forwards, not just front row. If Gilbert is injured (he seemed like he wasn't playing 100% after a big hit against GT), then Anderson could play...

    Queensland GPS Burgers 2012

Had lunch at the officials room at GT, more than disappointing. Only got warm steak and cold sausages. Pretty lousy.

I was pretty surprised that he didn't get a yellow. As soon as I saw the tackle I was really just hoping not to get a red and have him out of the NC game. So many people have been sent off for similar misdemeanors, but I think the difference was Lakeym attempted to use arms in his tackle, while...

Seeing the whole incident from a distance I mightn't be fully reliable, but it looked like Sitaleni held Greene down and pushed him on the ground, to which Greene gave him a little shove when getting up. Next thing Green got thrown a good 5 metres. Quite astounding sight.

Some Nudgee old boys say they are expecting 10,000.

Anyone know if Matt Marsden is going to be well enough to play against NC or if Nick Anderson will be having a run?

So final results for the round BGS d GT 24-7 IGS d ACGS 29-12 TGS d BSHS 36-28 TSS d BBC 29-12 NC bye. This means that the game between BGS and NC at Ross will decide the outright premiers if I'm correct.

Radford has been in and out all season after a stunning season in 2011. Really bad luck for the school captain, would have loved to see him face up against NC.

It is possible, but from the time the teams were posted to last night, not much could have changed with his attitude - I don't think there was any training on Friday afternoon. I also don't think such a good player would be dropped so suddenly. Anyway, we will just have to wait and see. Where...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

From what I've seen of ACGS they look like they are really becoming a real team rather than the individuals which they were at the beginning of the season. While IGS have played quite good rugby, I think both teams will really have quite a shot. The team which wants it more will win and I think...

Anyone know if the rumors of Gilbert getting dropped due to attitude at the last minute are true?

Just some quality smacks he has thrown giving him the title of "most hated person" by some terrace boys.

Probably more than a few big hits coming at Mort.

The "smart rugby" must be credited to their coaching staff. As a BGS boy, most afternoons, I see the First XV watching heir previous games and highlighting where they can improve. Really seems like this is an essential part of their training as any part of the game which they weren't 100% they...
