BGS Head of Rugby is saying that it will be anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000. The BGS Old Boy Association is saying 7,500 and trying to rally old boy support. Word is that NC is saying 8,000. Anyone got an idea about seating arrangements; might be a bit hard to squeeze everybody in.

He has had a sling on for the week so far so and I haven't seen him doing any training with the 1sts. I would rule him out.

TSS beat them because they were a better team. What makes everyone think that NC were simply not as good as TSS. I haven't seen NC play this year but from what I've seen of TSS, they were quite a strong team. Anyone talking about the complacency of NC simply is looking for an excuse.

I can really say that I loved the Brave and Game programs. With lots of GT mates, I know they all appreciate it too. I was unaware of this end but I think it was a great addition to the GT rugby program and will miss seeing it once every two years.

Damon Emtage from Brisbane Grammar (former Reds assistant coach) has transformed the BGS 1st program. Being appointed the position after BGS's woeful 2009 season going down by over 100 points, he changed the Grammar team to be in a top of the ladder Queensland GPS final round clash this weekend.

What I was saying is that the BGS firsts team has no person who is below par or not pulling their weight. It is almost impossible to pick someone who would be replaced as every player is consistently having solid games and the odd standout. In my opinion, the tight 5 are astounding at the ruck...

I think the selection of Nick could have to come down to his performance in the 2nds. If he has a blinder, they should put him on the bench, but I doubt the strictly planned coaches of Gardner and Emtage will do so. Real pity... On a side note, is their any talk about Lewis' injury?

Just saw this thread and wanted to say that they probably have been contemplating sacking him, but nobody has the guts to do it. From the times I've met him, he has been an arrogant, self absorbed dead brain. Pretty sure everyone would be happy without him there.

Any idea why Ando would be ruled out? Just not enough games to assess him?

If Nick Anderson had been in the season, BGS would have had such a better season. Still needing to know whether he will take the field against NC - The explosive power which he would bring to the team would be amazing. He has been doing lots of running and rowing so should be in good shape but...

Think it would be suicide for the boys in butchers stripes going for the plastic cheese, might show their desperation right towards the end of the game with nothing to loose.
