Disappointing to lose Tiatia and Anstee in particular. Need to replace the 5 above with 3 or 4 wallabies from the rebels

    Wallabies 2024

Looking back at Wallabies side Eddie picked vs Wales in World Cup there were only 5 Brumbies in the 23. They have been Australia’s dominant and most consistent side for a few years now and have been under represented. Regardless of the reasons for the above, hopefully this year a few more...

    Chiefs v Reds 7/6 QF

Disappointing performance and really concerning the way the kiwi teams have just monstered the Aussie teams in some games. Same with the blues with Sotutu and Ioane, it has looked like men against boys. The wallabies are going to really need Valetini and his mates to step up physically

yes looking better - the above would finally take the force to the next level if twiggy could pull it off

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Those figures are for Stan overall though, not Stan sport which is an additional cost. The numbers for Stan Sport I would imagine would be similar to Optus Sport.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

You sound like you have never actually watched a sevens tournament before? The games are continuous, back to back all day. The entertainment factor is non-stop. The Perth sevens was one of the best sporting events I have been too in terms of entertainment and there were a lot of non-rugby...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

So what are the main reasons everyone is jumping on the Matilda's bandwagon? Is it just a fad and because soccer is a much easier game for a neutral to pick up and support? Or just better marketting. How many people that went would even know that China are only ranked number 19 in the...

That women’s win was epic, so good.

Prior and Wells great leaders for the club and wish them the best but also good to see Cron making the tough calls. Saw another post giving the impression Kaituu was going, no doubt will be a few more but need to keep the core of the group as building well with some good recruits already...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Thinking about options for how super rugby could look 2026 onwards, how about something like this. Super Rugby AU - 5 teams - 8 rounds (home and away) - Top 2 play off in grand final to decide Aus champion Super Rugby NZ - as above Then once above is completed they move to a...

    Round 15 of 15: Force v Brumbies Sat 1st 7.35PM (AEST) @ HBF Park

Wow a few changes there for the Force. Wasn't sure if Coxon was still around or was just injury cover. He was good previously but disappointed to see Hoopert missing. I like the second row and backrow, Will Harris deserved to be dropped, has been disappointing. Going to miss Donaldson...

    Wallabies 2024

This is pretty crap if true. I know he has been injured but they need to invest in him for the Lions. Didn't they just give a top up to Zane Nongorr?

    SVNS Series 2023/24

Hooper is injured. Was always going to be a struggle at 32 and playing an explosive game like sevens. Don't like his chances of getting in for Olympics now unless he gets picked for the "good bloke / experience" factor. Also depends if they want to bring in any of Toole / Ryan /...

What did people think of Frost at 6? Could that work with the Wallabies. Frost 6, McReight 7, Valetini 8. Lineout would be very strong with say Swain, Rodda and Frost. Then you could have a Tom Hooper / LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) / Leota etc coming off the bench.

Go and check the ladder again. Being shit has not stopped waratahs players getting picked for the wallabies the past few years

yes good call, not sure if Schmidt was at the game but he was in Perth all week so they picked a good time to pull their fingers out and perform!

Western Force v Fijian Drua Saturday 11 May, 7:55pm WST

Great win and jump 3 places on the ladder. Based on that performance and being at home again they should belt the Tahs this week but we all know consistency and the Force don't go hand in hand. Highlanders have a bit of a gap in 7th now so probably best hope now is sneaking 8th spot.

    Wallabies 2024

I think Schmidt should be considering Bailey Kuenzle for a squad position, has been playing very well and can pretty much cover anywhere from 10-14. Sold defender, could do a lot worse.

    Wallabies 2024

I don't agree with Hooper being anywhere near the Wallabies but was wondering what his plans will be after the Olympics. I still think he would add value to a Super rugby team for a year or 2 - maybe the Force.

    Wallabies 2024

Yeah and you definitely couldn't have Skelton playing with that backrow. I like the Valetini/McReight/Wilson combo, I think you could combine that with Frost and Swain or LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and then have Holloway or Hanigan on the bench
