    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yep, the Kings are unlucky. They beat our two worst performing teams, and neither of those are being cut.

    Shute Shield 2017

What position does Adams play? No 10 hopefully? Looks like a No 10 about to throw a long pass in the photo.

BH, time to forget about last year (on which I disagree with you as you know), and for all of us to accept that Hanigan would have benefited greatly from having Fardy there this year as mentor. Surely a selection gamble that has misfired.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The force fans are on the cusp of rebelling, but they most certainly aren't the Rebels.

And it becomes a self-fulfilling excuse that they are already Overseas when the anointed one turns out to be somewhat short of what is required at test level. Cheika certainly leaves a lot to be desired in his squad selections.

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

BH, I reckon the scrum still went backwards after TPN came on. It did seem stronger but still dominated. Wasn't until Kepu, Timani and Rodda came on that I thought they had parity.

At face value, TOCC, I'd agree that McM, Hooper and Timani would seem to weaken the lineout, but I have seen it reported that Hanigan wasn't used at all in the Bled 2 lineouts, so maybe the third jumper isn't so crucial. Although, having said that, I think Mostert is the best lineout operator...

I totally agree that Hodge should be in the mix. It is unfortunate that including him will see one of the now nearly-established backline drop out. In relation to Hunt, I believe he will return via the bench, as he should do. There is no defense related reason after Bled2 to move Beale from...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Can't see any new ideas at all there that haven't already been put under the microscope here on GAGR. I am still a bit bewildered by the apparent two directions. A national comp like the NPC - so what exactly is the NRC? Already exists as far as I can see, but soon to be minus the Spirit...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think self-interest would be very much to the fore. And his self-interest seems to be very much tied into the SS.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

RN, I can't really be arsed reading the whole interview/article. Perhaps you can enlighten me a little. "I tend to favour a NRC style competition, because it gives you a broader base, .." - favour over what alternative and broader base than what? Is he talking about a third tier comp, and if...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Is there any good news anywhere regarding FTA and rugby coverage? Both 7 and 9 are in the press lately saying that sports coverage will be reduced because of high costs and significantly lower advertising revenue.

Would that be right KO? I see where McMahon himself is talking about going to Japan at the end of the RC, this year.

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

It really isn't provincialism to point out the mistakes made by Hooper in this game and then to question the motives of a poster who invariably sees excuses for any misdeeds of players from his favourite franchise. Hooper certainly missed too many tackles and not all by shooting out of the...

Maybe not capable of yet, but impossible to say as they haven't been given an opportunity to show what they're capable of at test level. However, looking at Super Rugby form this year, Gordon consistently outplayed Phipps and kept him on the bench or out of the 23 for periods during the year. Powell...

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

Yeah - both courtesy of hard running by Rory Arnold. More than one way to have an impact on a game. EDIT : Btw, was very encouraging to see Rory play the full 80 minutes. Looks like the second row is developing nicely with Arnold and Coleman. And Rodda looked really good when he came on too...

I believe the current Wallabies' squad was picked just for Bledisloes 1 and 2. Who would come into consideration for the next squad, and who might drop out of the present one? I definitely would like to see Jonno Lance added, along with RHP. I suppose Hanigan has to remain as he's started the...

I would add Cusack at 6. Has good national 7s experience, and has shown promise with the Brumbies and the Royals in Canberra. Strong tackler with a good turn of speed, and jumps in the lineout.
