I happy to fluff around for a month if it means that Foley won't be there. someone new a month behind is far superior than some smug prick telling me he has the answers and getting a 25% success rate. Thank god the Force are so fucking inept that they offered him a 4 year term.Maybe the spears...

ahh no actually, I would be trebling their grant. The established clubs shouldn't need help, and if they did they should stop spending cash on colts. So I would say thanks Easts & Randwick, the money will be well spent in the west.

Seriously, you have no idea. St Clair in the Penrith district would literally have more kids in their club than the entire comp at Souths.St Marys have 2 rego days each year, week 1 is for returning players, week 2 is for new rego's. In many teams there are no vacancies at all before rego's are...

Ted think losses are Match Fixing

That's a good point, obviously that Richie & Carter are a little more qualified to pass judgement on Henry than I am. The way he was portrayed when coaching the Lions has left an indelible impression on me, so i just can't get over his performance there. In terms of match fixing IMO, you either...

Make that the 1/2 time entertainment. There will be sellouts all year, regardless of team performance.

Ted think losses are Match Fixing

A match fixing conspiracy, or a baseless headline to make a few bucks? Why have there not been a plethora of instances since, that smell of match fixing? If it worked then it would be repeated regularly. I think Henry trying to earn a few sheckels is the much more likely option.

How many AB coaches are not greatly successful? John Mitchell also had an outstanding record coaching the AB's. When he was sacked from the AB job they had every trophy except Bill. How has he gone since then? Henry had a good record with the Blues, but didn't he have some all time greats in...

Ted think losses are Match Fixing

He had a fleeting thought that it may have been, then dismissed it. That is not his feelings on the matter. The game has given him a fucking good living for many years, he was bestowed a knighthood from his association with the game. Then he shits on the game to earn a couple of extra bucks...

I'm with Mark, a big no on bands of any description. Free passes to kids playing is brilliant. Oh and give Working visa's to all the Shorks cheerleaders, that will bring back the fans

OK Tahboy, Parra & Penrith deserve to have no players because they do not go to carnivals and recruit players that other clubs have fostered for 10 years. But then they should not expect that any players just out of School would play for them as they do not have any teams. So if local kids who...

Well that explains why TC wants to go around again. But what is the justification from those oxygen thieves running the Tah's? They have a huge injury toll all year, they clearly decide he is no longer in their plans and do not even select him in the match day squad on several occasions, then...

Tahboy, What junior clubs do Randwick and East support and how many kids play under Randwick & Easts? If Penrith & Parra chase the same pool of 18 year old kids as you suggest, it just moves the problem. Why don't they just offer talented young colts a car if they sign up, as some clubs do. Only...

Where do they get these colts from? It is not easy to start up junior clubs and teams without support from the ARU. The League teams have massive numbers of juniors. These kids are not first generation League players, their fathers and grandfathers all played League, that is the natural choice if...

Pine Cone, lot's of venom there for a casual observer. One might think a little over the top. Happy to exchange views on Rugby, if you happen to post anything Rugby related I might respond. I just don't understand why you get so personal. Is there something in the water out there?

Why? Most games are played in the right spirit. The Schools certainly do not condone or encourage foul play. There are a thousand other/more important issues. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

No 9 sit back take a big breath, enjoy your win last week. Move on with your life. You are losing perspective and have become irrational. 6 kids split into 2 different squads does not equal a team training together however much you wish to believe it. "Whether it was a shadowy act of political...

Learning from the enemy – an affordable Third Tier competition

Dave, I think you missed my point. Which was that it's not well supported by the general public. I didn't mean to infer that it was not worthy of more support.

Learning from the enemy – an affordable Third Tier competition

Look at the crowd at a Shute Shield match, it is little more than family & girlfriends, lower graders & their family & girlfriends. It is hardly well supported by the general public. Any 3rd tier comp is more about the players than the public.

If Foley was sacked, he can pursue the Tahs for any shortfall in his income. If he was to find employment on similar or better terms than he is currently on, he has no claim against the Tahs. Go the force......
