Tahs hierarchy start falling on their sword. at last

That seems a bit dated now. I wonder what the updated statement might look like?

    Cooper going into the ring?

Exactly,QC (Quade Cooper) is a numptie in the Boxing World, so they need to find someone who could not beat up Mother Theresa. But to sell any tickets they have to tell the punters that he is going to hand QC (Quade Cooper) his arse. So who can fulfill these pre requisites? Their best chance is to send QC (Quade Cooper),KB (Kurtley Beale) & JOC (James O'Connor) on a boys...

Tahs hierarchy start falling on their sword. at last

Hugh, on that basis Phil Kearns would be great as CEO as well. I would rather they poach an established AFL guy. They all seem pretty good operators as a general rule.

    Cooper going into the ring?

Scoey, I hink you are on the money. I just struggle to visualise what sort of never was they could dish up. Remember that rule 1 is that they can't hurt QC (Quade Cooper). That limits the pool of possibles considerably.

Robbie Deans is rugby's Kenny Dalgleish

Sorry, but that is bullshit. The Saders were great on the counter and won quite a few games on the back of that. But there was plenty of structure in their game apart from that. You can't seriously suggest that all the AB tight 5's that also played at the Saders played with no structure.

Interesting stats Bruce, as you say the stats don't measure up to the hype. Who do you think might be the best option to coach the tahs?

Director of Coaching, head coach and manager. There is also a CEO and an army of back office staff for logistical tasks. WTF do they all do? There would appear to be substantial duplication of duties amongst these various roles.

Ted think losses are Match Fixing

Maybe it's just a different perspective, I don't think he is all bad. just that he is not perfect. But then I'm an Aussie, we don't automatically think of conspiracy theories every time we lose a game. After all no ref ever needed to match fix against us, no waitress ever tried to poison the...

I agree Charger, no doubt he informally asked the board before deciding not to formally apply for an extension.

    Cooper going into the ring?

I have no issue with him boxing either. I just can't believe they can find someone who a) can't hurt him, and b)can be promoted as a serious opponent for QC (Quade Cooper).

Ted think losses are Match Fixing

Funny how we can watch the same thing and come away with different conclusions. He is revered in NZ, he was awarded a knighthood as a reward for coaching the AB's. now that he has retired he is an "elder statesman" of the game. What good comes from this apart from selling some books? Many might...

    Cooper going into the ring?

What a crock of shit, his ex could beat him. He will not earn a cracker out of boxing. I don't understand why his management float these ridiculous scenario's in the press.

It is common for businesses to share costs across their business to understand the unit cost. The head coach's pay does not change according to how many colts players there are. Strapping costs are also divided by player numbers, but look at the strapping 1st grade & 2nd grade use, and compare...

Pretty good summation linebacker. I am trying to find a bookie that is betting on the new coach, so I can get a few bucks on Cheika. ...having no luck so far.

Tahs hierarchy start falling on their sword. at last

I can't recall hearing or reading any thoughts that Foley is doing the wrong thing in leaving, or any opinion that the tah's should hold him to his contract and not allow him to go. I can't recall a coach previously being released from his contract to allow him to coach a opposition side...

Maybe it just speaks volumes about the quality of the decision makers at the Force?

Well, Ted definitely gave them no chance! I take your point on selective editing, but you still have to do the things they show you doing, and you still have to say the things they show you saying. Selecting editing or not Ted came across very poorly.Especially with someone who had an impressive...

My commiserations to all Force supporters, I hope this does not turn out as badly as I fear it might. Can anyone explain why Blake was never considered? I thought he had a higher winning percentage than the incumbent with a weaker squad? An insiders view on Strengths and weaknesses of the squad...

Did I read somewhere that Foley knocked back a 3 year deal with the Force, but agreed to a 4 year deal? Talk about having faith in yourself!

    Sydney Colts 2012

They are the most professional and best resourced club in the land. They have the best coaching panel in the country IMO and recruit aggressively. The financial packages they offer some of their colts cannot be matched by any other club. No one has better facilities and Uni players appear to have...
