World Series Rugby: Rd 2 Western Force v Tonga Sunday 13 May 04:00PM

Deegan has been going pretty good, much better than I would have expected. Maybe worth consideration for higher honours as we are extremely thin on the ground for even just adequate No 10s. He and Stewart from the Reds look to be best of the up and comers.

I believe you are very close to the mark BH. Unfortunately with that squad and likely team we are going to get beaten and from there we will decline further as the RWC approaches. It is the last opportunity Cheika and cohorts have to look at and evaluate new talent at test level. I would...

    Round 13: Brumbies v Rebels, Sat 12th May @7:40pm

R3, I'd go so far as to say things have already changes in respect of Wallaby wingers. I wouldn't have any of Speight, Koriobete or Naivalu close to the side. If Naivalu overcomes his injury problems, he would be the only one who might in time come back.

McCaffrey was just terrible against the Rebels. Why the fuck would he think he can grubber kick the ball, which he did with his first two touches when he had players outside and ball retention should be paramount? His handling was below standard generally and cost a certain try otherwise. He...

Looks like a reprieve for Folau on the wing then.

    Round 13!!!!!, Crusaders v Waratahs

Not berating Gibson, but anyone would be expected to improve on Grey as the defense coach.

Thanks Steve. I agree with the profile - definitely a player to keep an eye on. Maybe a better 6 than lock with his height/build?

    Round 13: Brumbies v Rebels, Sat 12th May @7:40pm

Cam Clarke is in better form than any of Speight, Koriobete and Naivalu. But will he be selected? Being a Tah will help, but being relatively inexperienced and maybe not one of Cheika's favourites coming through 7s it is probably unlikely. Right now, I'd like to see Clarke and Daugunu on the...

    Round 13!!!!!, Crusaders v Waratahs

How much credit for the improved Tahs' performances should go to Simon Cron or the absence of Nathan Grey?

Really like the look of Fergus Lee-Warner. Any details on his history/experience/eligibility etc?

    Brumbies 2018

Allan is consistently the best THP going round in Aus rugby this year. Should be first pick for the Wallaby spot with Tupou on the bench.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think, at least in relation to the Brumbies, Barbs, that it is a failure of the game plan that is spoiling the spectacle and losing fans. The Brumbies of last year or before would not spend 10 - 15 minutes camped on the opposition tryline without scoring. Now, recently, they've done just that...

As they most probably will, DP.

    Round 13: Brumbies v Rebels, Sat 12th May @7:40pm

Most impressive (maybe the only impressive) aspect of the Brumbies play was Arnold's defense. Continually hit hard and drove the ball players back metres. And I don't think he was pinged for a high tackle all game? His work in disrupting mauls is also the best in the Aussie conference this...

    Round 13: Brumbies v Rebels, Sat 12th May @7:40pm

Think he ran out of puff in the second half. Understandable if so, just returning from a long injury layoff.

    Round 13: Brumbies v Rebels, Sat 12th May @7:40pm

I have lately believed that most of Speight's defensive issues could be traced to the game plan and structures. But if so, why don't we see the same deficiencies on the other side of the field. I'm afraid it must mostly be down to Henry, and it's well past time he was left out of the 23...

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Couldn't cut the Brumbies because until this year they were the best performing Aus side since the Tahs in 2014. The Brumbies woes this year are similar to those of the Reds and Rebels, and the Tahs up til this year. They are very poorly coached. Their skill levels are deteriorating, and they...

    Australian Rugby / RA

With our game plans at the Brumbies, Rebels and perhaps the Reds and Wallabies, I think we plan to lose. We certainly play that way. Only the Tahs at present look to want to take risks to actually win a game.

As for the Brumbies Neil, I believe they are in trouble. Will have to wait and see about the Wallabies.
