IMO......... The 3 Wallabies will likely be the locks most featured in the 23. As co-captain Carter would have to be a certain starter, with Rory Arnold most likely to partner him.......... Enever for the bench with the occasional start, and Richie Arnold rotating into the squad at times...

So, the argument is that we should loosen eligibility criteria, in spite of all the reasons mentioned above, so that a player who is well down the pecking order might hypothetically come good playing overseas? Seems weak..........

In the glory days players used to not get paid, get hammered on the weekends and would work full time jobs........... Not trying to argue.

Well, TOCC’s response was better and more detailed than mine........... So aside from losing our best players, the strength of the test team would likely diminish and our national competitions would crumble......... You described it as shooting ourselves in the foot, yet can you name any tier...

Because all of our best players will head overseas for the bigger pay cheque.........
