    Waratahs v Chiefs - Round 14 - Friday 27 May 2016

The Reds & Force have both had games where they had better stats but clearly weren't the better team. As I said, I missed the first 15 or so, but the Chiefs must have been clearly better in that time, because the Tahs have been the better side the whole time I watched - even when playing 14 on 15.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Round 14 - Friday 27 May 2016

And yet, according to some of the comments on here the didn't deserve to be in front at half time.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Round 14 - Friday 27 May 2016

It's interesting to read some of the comments on here about the disparity between the two sides. I missed the first 15, but since then the Tahs have been clearly the better side for mine and have shown some good passing movements and support. They've been too lateral at times, but then a lot of...

    Reds 2016

Not sure on that. As good as Hooper is, I always reckon that Fardy's contribution is seriously underrated. It is also a question of how the backrow is best balanced. I think it is the same for the Reds. The thing I find interesting is that I would have thought Tui is currently doing to role...

    Reds 2016

I dunno - Cheika has obviously been very influential in bringing him back. Maybe he is looking down the track, but he clearly likes what Houston brings to the table.

    The Wallabies Thread

My comment related to Brownings place at the Reds, not really any prospect of him making the Wallabies squad. I don't see him in the frame for that at present. With regards to his place at the Reds, I actually think he has shown a willingness to earn his stripes, live off bit chances off the...

My apologies BM - I gave credit to Brumby Runner. Should have know - he is clueless. :) Good pick BTW.

    The Wallabies Thread

I actually like that squad - not bad based on who is fit. Not sure if Palu is really a viable pick anymore, but then his experience in a 39 man squad will probably be gold for some of the younger blokes. Hats off to Brumbie Runner - if I am correct he nominated Powell as a squad member for this...

    The Wallabies Thread

I did wonder about the size/context of the squad. It will still be very interesting to see who some of the inclusions/exclusions are.

    The Wallabies Thread

I am not really comfortable with Cheika's habit of parachuting in recruits from OS - but you would have to say it was pretty successful last year. Giteau, Douglas, Mitchell and Mumm all justified their inclusion. The other thing is that Houston is a different style of player to anyone else we...

He was pretty good in the NRC last year too from memory.

    HSBC 7's - Round 10 - London

Absolutely they have - and the incorrect opinions probably out number the accurate ones by a mile. But there have been the odd accurate observation made on here too. At least a couple, by my reckoning.

    HSBC 7's - Round 10 - London

Galumay - this post seems to be at odds with the majority of your others. You frequently post here to complain about the gap between the skills and intensity of the top level of Australian rugby, yet in this post seem to reject any criticism of those in charge by the wider public of 'key-board...

    Reds 2017

Reds Happy - I agree with all that. The commercial success, if any was actually achieved was short sighted and will be short lived. I'm certainly not celebrating it. I guess I was merely acknowleging the fact that it did boost membership.

    Reds 2017

The other thing is that Goromura's signing made a lot more sense if the plan was to play Hunt at 12. If that was never the plan, there was very little logic to it. It seems it may have been commercially successful - and I guess the reality is that that is important - but in hindsight just seems...

Well, at least that'd get Horan & Kearns out of the commentary box.

    The Wallabies Thread

I think it is worth noting Slippers form was clearly affected by injury last year - he was clear first choice before that and was close to Australia's best in the previous 12 months. Not to take anything away from Sio's excellent form last year. Whilst I agree in general with the premise that...

In a struggling Force outfit, Adam Coleman seems to be going from strength to strength to me. Arnold seems to be the crowd favourite on here to get the second lock spot, but personally I'd like to see Coleman get a crack.

    Reds v Sunwolves, Round 13, 21 May 2016

I would have thought those stats provide pretty clear evidence that he isn't the problem.
