Who's the defense coach? We're scoring enough points to win these games but shipping even more.

    Refereeing decisions

Nige's penalty tonight which ended the contest. It appeared that (and sounded like) Phipps was penalised for taking out the opposition halfback without the ball, despite coming through the "gate". Looking at the laws - he seemed to be applying this... Which would imply that the ruck was over...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Very frustrating at the moment, because so many players look really good, especially in attack, but then the the flaws crack open under pressure, and we lose 3 zip despite scoring enough tries and points and having the possession to do so much better. Fundamentally, the problem seems to me to...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

I think that's tied for the second highest points total for a losing team in history (third if you count Namibia (54) v Madagasca, 2012) behind Wales (44) v Argentina in 2004, and same as NZ (40) v SA in 2000

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

How the hell do you lose 3-0 to England scoring 4 tries in the first test match, have 70% possession in the second and then 5 tries in the third?
  6. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

    It's 4 in a row isn't it?
  7. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Should have been a yellow card there. Can't keep collapsing mauls. They are professional fouls
  8. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

More points from another "clearance" kick. Why don't we just try kicking it out?

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

To'omua shows he's got dud kicks in his aresenal as well, and then Fardy completes the dumb penalty maneuver to gift England points

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

England will scrum us out of this now. Fardy isn't up to it at this level
  11. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

And we once again see why it's not a good option....

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Palu on for Skelton? Fardy to lock?
  13. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

We're falling apart here. Simmons was the glue that was holding it all together....
  14. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

That try is criminal for an international side. You can't just allow the no 8 to stroll over like that
  15. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Unlike that one, Arnold better get off the ground for future lineouts or we really are stuffed
  16. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Skelton's still on so looks like it. 80 mins from him would not have been the plan :(
  17. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

And people wonder why Simmons keeps getting picked....
  18. Strewthcobber

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Yep - they dropped the kickoff directly on top of him and have been sending pressure his way every time he looks like getting the ball since
