I don't see how Dempsey has made the cut - but I guess the reality is I've seen very little of him and his season was pretty injury interrupted. I did note that at the start of the year he seemed quite highly rated by people who had seen him come up through the ranks. If he does get a start...

To be fair, I've always though a lot of Kiwis accept that Hansen can act like a bit of an arse. But if Cheika had Hansen's record I reckon most of us would be happy enough to laugh off most of his behaviour.

You don't think Coles has a case to answer for based on the current stance being taken on attacking the head and neck? Serious question - not trying to be a smartarse. I'm not sure to what point you're post is banter, or whether you think I'm over reacting.

At Hanigan's age, I would think that his work load will be managed and he'll get a rest at some point. I'd like to see RHP included too - but whether he is or not it appears Dempsey is considered next cab off the rank based on the naming of the bench for the last test.

No point citing any of the ABs now Dismal. We don't play them again for 5 games. I'm pretty sure there are a score of Saffas & Argies who all need to be rubbed out for a month though.

10 really is our biggest area of concern for mine and has the least certainty around future prospects. Both Mason & Stewart have genuine promise - but are a long way from proven super players, let alone obvious Wallaby contenders.

You'd imagine there'll be a citing on that evidence, but who really knows.

Yeah - I guess I was more looking at emerging talent, so I left off Lance. Unless we have some injuries I think he may have missed his window (although you never know). Must admit that I have been surprised by Korcyzk's elevation to Wallaby squad member, but on that basis alone you're right...

What would you do with Hunt if he was available? If Beale stats at 12, Hunt goes to the bench - which I guess is a good sign if we can get to the point of having him off the bench. But, even on the back of Kurtleys efforts last night, I still reckon we'd be a better team with Hunt there. Also...

Looking forward, the most critical areas of weakness for mine are 2, 8, 6, 9 & 10. There are actually a good number of potential 9s coming through. Of the others, who are the players most likely - 2. Ulese, Latu, Mafi, Ready 8. Naisarani, ??? 6. Hanigan, RHP, hopefully Timu 10. Mason, Stewart...

It'll be interesting what they do when Hunt is fit/available. Beale had been good - and last night defended well in the 12 channel. But I still think that Hunt is the better option there, with Beale at 15. I'm just not sure if Cheika is willing to move Folau. The most encouraging thing about...

Just watched the press conference. I can't believe that they glossed over the massive unfair advantage that NZ had because of their quicker broadband internet speeds. We wuz robbed. (PS - does anyone actually know what that journo was on about?)

Fair enough - my apologies for taking it the wrong way. I did think some of the posts here were a bit dismissive of Cheika's complaint. I didnt mean to be sanctimonious or to present myself as holding any moral high ground.

I'm sorry - but hate mail and personal attacks are never justified. The micro scrutiny of Cheika's performance as a coach by the general public is part and parcel of the gig. But the level of viciousness and personal attacks is a truly sad and troublesome development in modern society...

Who appoints the CMO? Any chance we could get Cheika appointed the CMO for the next game? I am pretty sure there were 10 + ABs in a state of delirium 30 minutes into the first game that should have been dragged and not allowed back on the field. Player welfare needs to come first. Edit: Cyclo...

Should it really be that hard to ditch Greys defensive system. Just say to the players - 'hey guys, when we turn over the ball or it is the other teams feed, just stay exactly where you are and tackle'.

Mate, you're not worth arguing with. You either misinterprete or misconstrue my posts and seem to think since my opinion doesn't align with yours I must be just taking stabs in the dark.
