Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Genia has not been consistent (is that Genia, injury or playing at the Reds under RG? dunno), but he has a better, smarter kick than White (not longer) and has a much better running game

Brisbane City vs Perth Spirit, Rd1 2015

I think that depends on the set up, he could be a "Conrad Smith" type leader if the a side wants to play with width. That may work for City, but I don't think RG will use a set up like that at the Reds

And foxsports has White missing out http://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/wallabies-nic-white-set-to-miss-out-on-world-cup-place/story-e6frf4pu-1227492248393

Brisbane City vs Perth Spirit, Rd1 2015

He did some really good defensive work in cover, ran smart lines and generally makes good decisions

    Brumbies 2016

You guys have bought a Fijian backrower

Bigger is not always better - well not for the Wallabies.

Our work off the ball is always our issue, Skelton is never going to throw a miracle pass every time, but without in depth support runners every time Skelton can be triple teamed and when he does get his hands clear there is no one there to leverage it. As to the general tenant of being too...

    Waratahs 2016

Ok, I'll bite. Just how many 18yro does rugby have in technical and professional rugby development at one time in Australia? ................ and I don't mean giving them bus and lunch money to train, but a living wage in a professional environment?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

The next games I expect both Douglas & Carter playing in is the NRC, they are about 3% chance of being selected in the RWC squad, they will be working to be fit and ready if someone goes down. Simmons, Mumm, Horwill & Skelton will be the locks

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I think the weekends game highlighted how little "rugby" will be played at this RWC. Contestable, accurate kicks and not playing in your own half will be the successful teams mantra for long periods of each game

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

My guess is something like this will go Props - Slipper, Sio, Smith, Kepu, Holmes Hookers - Moore, TPN, Hanson Locks - Simmons, Horwill, Mumm, Skelton Loose - Pocock, McCalman, Hooper, Fardy, Palu Halves - Phipps, Genia, White, Inside Backs - Foley, Toomoa, Giteau, Cooper, Outside Backs -...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Hansen said after the first match that the Pooper will only work against sides prepared rugby. Then in the first half on Saturday, the ABs didn't play much at all. They kicked, chased, pressured and pressured some more. They rope-a-doped us and countered when they got the opportunity Most...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I'm not, many have always thought he is "a big unit of islander decent, so he must be a big crash balling, monster tackling individual" whereas in reality he is an effective 8 you does a lot of hard, non shiny work that teams need to be done.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

You are mixing up job description with effectiveness My point wasn't really saying Douglas was "good" or "bad" just stating that this is what he does as a lock and a general comment that lock type isn't appreciated in aus.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Douglas's role is to cleanout in attack and defense, make his tackles, take his ball at the lineout and push hard in the scrums for 80 minutes, essentially the tight work not appreciated by many.
