    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

For this game I expect the Wobs to maul a lot from lineout, keep the ball in the scrum, get the penalty and then have a go; and roll from set piece to set piece. Kick their goals and just grind for a goodly length of time. The last thing we want to see is a free for all chuck it wide...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Larkham confirmed that there will be two separate 15s for the first two games today in the Fox. http://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/rugby-world-cup-wallabies-to-field-different-starting-xvs-for-opening-two-pool-games/story-e6frf4pu-1227519937487 That I guess explains some of the selection...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Yeah, I appreciate big chunks of the game were being played as an opposed training run for the Fiji and other RWC games I just expect better

Was Grey the waterboy for the game?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

It is a very good article, it highlights our challenges in the first half. The big disappointment being the lack of adaption in that first half. Between the experienced players and the water boy/coach it shouldn't have taken 40 minutes to adapt

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I find it amusing to see the conniptions over hooker, the same horrors could happen at THP if Kepu or Holmes go down for any length of time and nary a squeal

    Waratahs 2016

Nadolo himself said in retrospect he needed the kick up the arse from the Tahs of not offering him a contract to sort himself out. Some players need some tough love

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

If that happens, I expect the starter to pace themselves and play long minutes, even the full 80. Both Moore & TPN do this in sup when needed

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I think it is interesting to see the number of positions with no clear front runner I see 5, 7, 8, 9, 12 & 14 not really clear what is the best option, with even Kuridrani not showing immense form either (although that may be an issue with the game plan & the chopping and changing inside...

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Cheika said afterwards that Genia's performance was helped by the pigs getting off their arses in the second half (and USA running out of puff) they (the US) were allowed to stream through too often in the first half without being duly smited But Genia did make good use of the better ball

G&GR Player of the Year- AUS v USA - Soldier Field - Sep 5

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

It is hard to judge matches like these as we don't know the workload piled on these guys in the last week and whether they tapered at all for this match

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

No, it is a calculated risk that has been clearly detailed to be not unusual in a RWC squads over the years. And with all calculated risks, they get to look like geniuses if it works or fools if it doesn't But that is why they get paid the big money, to make those decisions; and they will...

    Reds 2016

The next step is a meeting with supporters and the coaching staff (april/may) where by the use of PowerPoint slides and statistics they will demonstrate how unlucky they have been. This can followed by booing (although that may be deemed bullying in the "modern climate") as the Tahs model...

NRC Round 3: Rays vs Rising

Yeah with Quade at the 7s and Foley playing 12 months a year, he is a big chance, possibly even in November

NRC Round 3: Rays vs Rising

Debreczeni is looking better and better, so much time at this level, composed, can play flat, big, a running threat, neat pass and a good kick Looks a wob of the future It highlights the mature way to develop a young green 10, pick him, trust him, let him grow

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

More bothered about seeing Aus play well, be composed, have a clear structure and work at their level (not be dragged down) than how many turn up to watch. That is US rugby's problem

NRC Rnd 2: Stars v QLD Country

There was quite a nice insight into Dennis's captaining skills in the NRC highlights package on Fox, he was miked up for the game - worth a listen
