Argie test match, 181k on Ten, 16,000 attendance. We will have to await the Fox rating but may be pushing historic lows

    Refereeing decisions

Penalty attempt hits the post and then rebounds into touch. Who gets the throw and why?

Punters don't care. Can't sell out the games any more than they do now They just about get more people watching one weekend then there are people in Australia. Anyway, doesn't answer the question. Why do SH administrators care?

Do we know if there are no derbies until round 10, or just none played in Brisbane?

What's the thinking behind the SH wanting it moved? Would we shift the TRC to the same time or something? The six nations is so successful where it is - you'd want a bloody good reason to move it.

Does it work for A-league? Their ratings disappear as soon as there's any cricket on. Suspect ours would too

    Refereeing decisions

Yeah - just had a look at the replay. Dean Mumm came through (and he was probably offside!) and took out the half back. The half had his hands on the ball but probably didn't have possession. So Sio was fine, the ball was definitely out of the ruck, but it was Mumm who got penalised. Think...

It also looks like June tours will be scrapped for post-World Cup years, pesumably pre-world cup as well. So with the Lions year there as well, it looks like visits by England/Ireland/Scotland and Wales will be pretty rare

Wasnt a bad one against Scotland last year either

Great website - put the filter on Foley, and he hasn't taken any long range penalty shots, and he hasn't taken any shots from the more difficult right hand side. Put the filter onto Barrett, and it's the long range kick and right hand side one's that he has missed. Sanchez and Jantjes miss...

Bit of an update. World Rugby have decided on some changes, though we don't have much detail at this stage. No reports as to how end of year tour revenue will be sorted * Six nations stays where it is * Domestic Rugby in (some parts) up north to start and finish later * Looks like Super Rugby may be...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

By the end of the game, everything may have slowed down, changes structure etc to so that front rowers can make it to some of theses rucks etc
  15. Strewthcobber

    This is interesting.

How do you envision this actually happening - ie which game, shown where, by who etc? I just see so many obstacles that i just can't see how it is ever going to happen

    This is interesting.

Or like watching the springbok test and commenting on the game thread at the same time

    This is interesting.

^^^^^agree with most of that Scrubber 12 games in 15 weeks for the Wallabies at the moment, so we are definitely going to need to start managing a few workloads if they are going to make it through the year. Think Cheiks will play everyone this week though as the home games are so important...

All law changes, even with the NRC, have to be approved by World Rugby They are probably going to let us change things up to a point but there's a limit to what they will entertain. And if the changes don't apply to Super Rugby and internationals will "anyone" even notice? Edit - but yeah -...
