Just watching the replay - that really was a cheap shot from Cane on TPN. Blindsiding a guy who is getting to his feet not in a ruck. Really poor form.

His footwork into contact is excellent. Even on dry tracks he seems to be able to get to a soft shoulder through quick feet. A good role model for any young forward.

I’ve had my crack at Foley as well in the past - so my apologies if this is a bit hypercritical- but maybe we can give the Foley analysis a miss. It has been done to death and I don’t see anyone changing their currently held view. Given we just beat the ABs maybe we could celebrate the positives.

Can I ask how both Caleb Timu & Hamish Stewart played? Timu is looking like a very good replacement for Tui to me. Korczyk will be in the mix too, but there is plenty of promise in a backrow of Smith, Timu & Higgers. Stewart is shaping as a very good bench cover for 10/12/15.
