    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

I like those a lot more, clearly differences in how it is measured.

Yeah I don’t fully trust the stats. I love BPA and seeing him come up like this, but he was gifted 10m in one of the short line outs. Simmons otoh was 6 runs in heavy work and included 3 passes. Tupou was working in heavy but perhaps more in D this game.

And yet Rennie complaint was they didn’t kick enough.

Stats of course are not everything and I can’t vouch for their accuracy - but they can tell a story and these are easily accessible. Stats guru gave us 4 clean breaks. One each you will be glad to know to: Banks Wright White BPA. So your recollection is pretty good. Hodge, Petaia...

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Yes that Banks pass was shite. It was also running a risk play under advantage. He had little time and could either take contact or pass. He tried to do both simultaneously and fluffed the pass. I don’t think Koroibete overran it, he had to strive to take the (forward) pass. We really do need...

I’m thinking Hodge might be an interesting choice. While Hooper should have IMO taken a couple of extra penalty kicks, his call to back the corner through Argie I’ll-discipline was good. Hooper loosing the c won’t change game play. You have to earn the right to go wide. We did. The...

Hey KOB. I thought Banks impact considerably higher than “zero” though I’ll look closely when I get to the replay. Anyway I come to the same conclusion that you do. Hodge could be an excellent FB and yep, he deserves the chance.

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Our line out was 81% to their 75% - it was not the problem at least not on a list a major items. Banks is criticised for high ball receipts and Hodge is suggested at 15, something I have said for a while. BUT Hodge dropped2 from memory at the tail end of the game. We complain about dumb...

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Don’t think so. All three teams are on 6 points, ABs with 2 BPs. If we win, and Arg/AB win then two teams equal. It’ll need BPs as well as win.

Understand where you are coming from and since I spoke Banks dropped a bomb, but I think he deserves to be there. Hard to argue with Hodge 15 though.

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

White needs to take steps ONLY when sniping. NOT to pass.

White has lost speed and accuracy.

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

This card is directly due to Hooper talking to ref. Likely to be left alone otherwise.
