A captain at least needs to know how to tackle "correctly"!!!!! Actually if he captained the same way it could be a fantastic idea - lead with your head.

I think Barnes has more tricks under that mullet, I question the game plan though. His positional play, and vision is of high quality and thus I think a good fit in 15, hoping 11, 14, and 15 gel, and we dont kick as much.

    Shute Shield 2013

Gunner - preaching to the converted in regards to moving it forward. The only think that may screw with is the 7's comps that have alot of history - not sure??? I think you called it a cup comp, are you suggesting that starts after the Shute Sheild (at the moment the GF is 14th Sept). For NZ's...

Outside them??? It may all be different under Cheika, I haven't seen a team of his play. I don't think Barnes plays on ths line, I'd like to see that in attack, I think Barnes has incredible vision and is more adept to 15 but I'd like to see him work with 11 and 14 and chime into the backline...

    Waratahs 2013

Torn Hammy, Barnes & AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) have formed part of the defunctional WOB's backline that most of us have been critical about, the one that has averages 1 try a game. I read Barnes is allowed to choose his position - I wait with baited breath. As for the Centre's I would pick either Carter, or...

Inside shoulder - you are excactly right ünfortunately (You cannot just blindly pick the next best) unfortunately the picking process of recent years has been blind, and thus leaving the game plan, and the backs in a shambles.

No doubt you would have thought some of the Woodies could have performed better in thier position than some of the Tah incumants.

FatProp, you'll no doubt understand and others. Probably up until under 12's maybe older - if you were asked your position did you answer "Prop" fair call. Probably at under 15's onwards if you were asked your position your answer may have been THP or LHP as you become more specialised - there...

Ah fat prop - coaches and game plans. it has been the Wobs / Tah's problem for a couple of years now. I'm not going to cop the injury tag - unfortunate yes - but: Reds had an horrendous injury toll last year. Brumbies made it as far as they did on new players that weren't wanted, or were unsigned.

    Shute Shield 2013

It is what it WAS - no doubt you also bounce back, instead of bouncing forward. Long road ahead, and no doubt some challenges as well. Invest in the Grassroots, and allow it to grow. Programs through the Schools, surely the 35 ontracted players with each province are renumerated well enough to...

    Shute Shield 2013

Do the clubs want a shorterned season, I dont think last years format was liked? Instead of shorterning, could the start date be moved forward from April?

Who Should Run The Wallabies Attack in 2013?

Quick Hands PM sent - Correct. Macqueen with NSW back in the early 90's - didnt have a team of starts but playes always playing their position, cant remember the 5/8 - Tombs / Wells Edgerton - 3 players who excelled and didnt get the same acknowledgments as Horan & Little and Co but players he...

    G&GR GRASSROOTS RUGBY THINK TANK

BaBa - nah not an arguement, - yes we need to do better. By saying all codes have the same audience - i should have said can market to the same audience. I think we did that well once and that was in the amateur days, do you remember that catchy tune I want to be a walla wallaby. I still think...

    G&GR GRASSROOTS RUGBY THINK TANK

HUGE difference - were they just given this because someone like AFL, or, was money invested wisley over a number of years, thus capturing a large audience and then good TV ratings. We cant acheive what the AFL has overnight, but we need to review and invest - thread tittle GrassRoots.

    G&GR GRASSROOTS RUGBY THINK TANK

No not suggesting that ARU has the same $$$ (world cup time we probably exceeded it), I am suggesting we follow a great game and we should have more. I'm suggesting money may have been wasted in the wrong area's, and not invested in the right areas - what position did David Nucifora just...

    G&GR GRASSROOTS RUGBY THINK TANK

Whose fault - Is that due to infrastructure / management / waste of money - as all codes have the same audiance. Rugby is an International game, AFL is only National. Rugby is one of Australia's Foundations sports - I'm sick of hearing how old Sydney Uni are. ARU have 6 Professional Teams -...

    Shute Shield 2013

With regards to Tribal so do I - for Nth Hbr I'd follow a Manly / Rats / Nths team.

    Shute Shield 2013

I have no idea of the costs to run a Shute Shield club - Manly kicked some goals last year That being said the cost to run a Junior Rugby Club would be significantly less - it is the parents pockets that generally fund these clubs, sponsors may providing contribution - more often than not the...

    Shute Shield 2013

Coach & Knuckles - Knuckles you said not affordable I was thinking adapting our shared rep idea only too NSW / ACT after the Shute Shield. It would keep the Fringe WOBS match harderened, and be a step up, 5 teams would be simple - the 6th??? Souther Districts is strong maybe it's them /...
