    Pacific Rugby Cup 2013

Rugby is trying to get exposure - why is it that these games are played mid week during work hours. I'd love them to be on a Saturday, or Sunday afternoon at a Shute Shield oval. LG pics above show a crowd of 2, shit I wonder if they spoke highly of crowd attendence as there is nobody else...

Waratahs vs Cheetahs Super Rugby-R5 2013

Agree 110%, I do think in time Izzy will be a valuable acquisition. The method of achieving this is game time. The only reason I chose Volavola is due to his instinct, and that he'll have a crack - Tummy C, and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) don't have creativity and I think that's impacting our 11 and 14. Can Volavola do...

Waratahs vs Cheetahs Super Rugby-R5 2013

Volavola can read a game and can play on instict, Folau is still learning and doesn't have that instinct "yet". If I had to pick one Volavola on the wing. @ 15 Barnes brings more at 15 than he contributes at 12. @ 12 not carter, but hey our roster says only one inside centre. @ 13 Horne first...

Or how George Smith promptly stopped some players and put them promptly on their arse. That hit on Izzy - crunch.

My thoughts / questions / variations; # 6 - Smith, is that George Smith - after last nights performance and a week and a bit at training, seeing his 70 minutes game time - head be my first choice 7, but has enough skill to play 6, and also 8. # 7 - I like Smith, Hooper, and Gill, each have...

Brumbies vs Waratahs Super Rugby-R4 2013

Agree on that for the match day 22, I think the squad could benefit from his involvement as well

Brumbies vs Waratahs Super Rugby-R4 2013

George Smith is a freak, straight back in and was one of the leading players. For experience I'd have him in the Lions series

    Rebels 2013

Another draw, won a half lost a half - the wins will come, there is some good structure and even at the bck end of the game it could have ended up 20 20.

End of year tour - if form warrants. I think the best for Izzy would be play as much rugby as possible - Super 15, and Shute through the mid season lions games.

Huge call, but I think the same. It want be him as an individual player, it will the quality of the 11, 12, 14, and 15 that brings out other dimensions of his - as i mentioned ealier Roff and Andrew Walker provided potency out wide and created space and scored tried. Disclaimer: will only see...

Diggers, Beale, BB, Izzy - I remember the days when Roffy, and Andrew Walker use to work together something similar may work with Izzy after a bit of Shute (during the Lions series) and the full Super season. And with taps or Lilo at 12, and JOC (James O'Connor) in 13 it could be quite a back line.

He's a 12 - JOC (James O'Connor) at 13, Diggers, Beale, BB (for the lions), and possibly Izzy for the RC. Lilo, and Acc on the bench

Taps or Lilo, they are both better than each other at certain aspects - but how good is it having 2 real 12 to look at. They each would adapt to a different game plans, and one that doesn't need to involve kicking. The pluses being: Lilo can fit 10, and 12. We don't need to use BB at 12 as I...

I like Taps at 12, Lilo on the bench as he can cover 10, and 12. This could get blown off, but, BB spending time in the Shute at 15 did him well, so; When the Shute starts send Izzy back there for a handful of games, I think it would provide an enormous benefit for his confidence, and timing...

Taps finished last year playing good rugby in 12, he is a specialist 12, why change him? If there was a change there Lilo is playing quality 12 at the moment, why not play a specialist?
