You see I think he has been doing a lot more lock work this year and that has lowered his "big moments\impact" quotient. He missed a load of preseason and took a while to get into the rhythm but his work in cleanouts and general efforts have increased a lot. Enough to deserve a bench spot...

I would like to see 15 DHP 14 Mitchell 13 Folau 12 Gits 11 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 10 Foley 9 Genia But that is the easy bit, although pace on the edge will be lacking, the pigs providing enough good ball will be the key

Yeah, I can't remember a game this year that Lilo bossed a game, he also hasn't played near the gain line this season

Silly question, does a player playing Super Rugby or signed for a Super Rugby side become eligible for the Wobs? Or does it have to be an Aus Super Rugby side?

For your homework, try watching the Aus/eng games again and note Phipp's pass deteriorate as the eng pack dominates the breakdown on our ball They made the ball a mess and that is generally when his pass gets worse Should he be more effective, sure, but we also should be looking at some of...

His pass can be an issue, I am just reminding those with short attention spans to consider when it often becomes that issue. It is a lot like the blame game with props, "they can't scrummage", "he is shit" often neglects to consider the lock's work, the backrows meerkatting and what the...

    The Wallabies Thread

Yeah, we can have someone who takes longer and is more accurate; and ball receiver is more likely to be running at a more set defence; or we get some less accurate passes at a defensive line still resetting. To me this perennial question neglects to look at a few areas that also need focus...

Very happy to see the Tahs stay away from Hayne, very very happy I actually think Horne needs to be in their as well, his work at 12 was quite good

    Reds 2017

With the pretty good recruitment the Reds have done, I am quite surprised they made do with a pretty inexperienced head coach The Reds look like a side crying out for a leader As a Tahs supporter I am happy to see they haven't

    Reds 2017

I think if Cooper is back those forwards will need quite a bit of improvement, a decent set piece is the start, but a lot more dynamism, accuracy and work rate will be required to provide the consistent quick ball Cooper needs. I think Cheika measures it as getting off your arse and back in play

    Quarter Final - Brumbies vs Highlanders, 22 July 2016 @ 6:00pm

it wasn't even 50/50, there wasn't any visual evidence seen by either the ref or the cameras that a try was scored, it simply couldn't be given

    Quarter Final - Brumbies vs Highlanders, 22 July 2016 @ 6:00pm

I continue to be impressed by the Highlanders, they play positive smart rugby. Shitty windy night, stick a decent jumper at two and make them go to 4 or throw wide going long. They simply took the ponies only consistent, potent attacking weapon off the table. All those 300,000 5m scrums...
