Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

the true test of a pro is how they play wounded because the majority of them have some injury all season, Coles did fine last week, he will get a couple of needles and put in a shift

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

If we plan to run full lineouts all night, I expect 5 mans a lot meaning less need for the more targets, for every option there is a counter. Tis why I love rugby

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

When you look at the other options, Hooper simply is a better backrower, he makes more metres, hits more rucks and more tackles than any of the options. Stick whatever number you want on his back but you lose his phenomenal workrate Now if you want a lesser player to sure up our lineout, I...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

If you did that (and I assume you think Pocock is the better 7) I would suggest that Hooper is still a better 8 than the other options. So the question is mute

The numbers don't matter, it depends who has the best solid hands at the back of the scrum, at times on Saturday it was Pocock, at other times it was McCalman. It is how the backrow work as a unit.

He probably will play Hooper at 7 & Pocock at 8 essentially because there are no better players available to cover those two positions. All that means is that the 4,5 & 6 will need to again be picked to compliment our 7 & 8

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Yeah "if" Pocock is chosen at 7 and Hooper isn't starting, I don't think you need Hooper on the bench, you have to budget for Pocock to play the 80 and pick bench options to cover other spots

I would prefer to see Foley at 12 and Cooper at 10 if this is happening

Have you followed Aus rugby for long? Always has been the same We have more "depth" now, but that depth isn't laden with test class units, just more middling super rugby standard units

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I think we need to decide how we are going to play and pick the best units we have who will play that style. At the moment I think we a picking our best units and fitting them in. That may mean breaking up the Pooper, but who starts to me becomes dependent on the style. Do we want to...

and yet we continue to put up solutions that entail changing the backline; and the conversation prior to the games (and all season) is how the issue is the 9/10 and the pigs are essentially the same lot with no real changes being argued or options actually putting their hands up. Cooper...

In retrospect, there were a number of things that that baffled me in this game Lineout, Hooper receives first throw err what? Is that us being simply too clever or being simply not confident in our specialist jumpers Attitude, we seem to be afraid to make mistakes, so much hanging off, not...

That presumes we have better cattle to replace them Kuridrani I think will be saved by the amount of 12s gone. Who is next in line? Hodge? or does Foley lpay 12 with Cooper going to 10 ........................... at Eden Park

Yeah we are missing real pace, we have many solid footballers, but we will have to link together a load of good play to be any threat at all And if we don't, they will destroy us in transition because they have footballing ability and pace
