    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

Emu, 12 is exactly where I have Beale in the likely Cheika team. I will admit that putting AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the wing was more tongue in cheek, but I am not at all sure that Kerevi will be in the starting 15.

    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

Good advice Barbs. I have ignored Derpus now for about a month because there is just no point in responding to his trite, inane one liners that almost invariably contribute nothing to any discussion. OTH, my post contained what I think Cheika will pick for Wales and a commentary on each of the...

    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

It is more than apparent that Cheika is protected until after the RWC 2019. I would therefore like to see the following side selected for Wales, and I'm pretty sure it will be close. Sio, TPN, Ala'alatoa, Simmons, Coleman, Hanigan, Hooper, Pocock, Genia, Foley, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Beale, Folau, Koroibete...

    Reds 2019

Who axed the Force as a feeder into the Wallabies? One more team and at least two more opportunities for players.

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Injured at training Reg like so many others. Was with the squad for a few games before his injury but didn't get a minute's game time.

Well, Naisarani does jump and is quite good, but won't be eligible until April next year or thereabouts. I think Dempsey is ok, and Cottrell has done a really good job in the NRC where he seemed to be the prime jumper for the Rising in some games. Both are better jumpers than Hooper so either...

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

We had the opportunity all year to try someone like that in Gus Cottrell, same height only a couple of kgs different, and probably a more abrasive player. But our brilliant national coach had nothing of it.

First round bye can be a killer. Coming into Round 2 against a team with more match fitness.

Yeah, and even for a few minutes after he came on before he ran out of puff. He was hardly involved in the game at all.

"You don't need to listen to any of the crap the coaches come out with, just follow my leads. Never, ever pass the ball out to the wings." In the rugby sense, I think mentoring is a load of shit.

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

There's a photo on Rugby.com.au showing AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Jed Holloway training in Japan. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) looks to have quite a few kilos extra on him than Holloway does. Is there really any chance of him playing in Europe? and if not, wtf is he there?

Wales 21 def Scotland 10. Saw the second half. Scotland looked just like the Wallabies. OK in 3/4ths of the field but entirely without inspiration in the Welsh 22m area. Some poor defensive reads as well, and poor handling skills. I am starting to think that Wales might be too good for the...

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

Have to say it didn't seem as obvious in the second half. In fact the Blossoms were doing it moreso.

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

Looked like plenty of movement to me.

WOB, what do you feel abouty the ABs' tactic on opposition kickoff of two or three players moving backwards to the point where the ball is coming down to block the chasers getting at the catcher? Think they did it on most occasions but certainly after the try by the No 9.

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Hiding whom? Hooper? Surely the only lessons we learn from the ABs is how to lose in 100 different, easy ways. Personally, I'd still go with 6 Cottrell, 7 Pocock, 8 Dempsey in the absence of Timu at 8 and until Naisarani is available or Valetini makes a case for the No 8 spot.

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Can Dempsey defend ok at No 8? Think I saw him play 8 in an NRC game or two. If Hooper must be retained at 7, maybe 6 Pocock, 7 Hooper and 8 Dempsey could be the go?

    Reds 2019

^^^^ Who are they likely to be losing after the RWC? Higgers? Lukhan? Kerevi? The purse strings could well and truly be loosened.

    Springbokke Northern Tour 2018

This match should give us a good guide to the respective strengths of England and South Africa. If anything, SA is probably a bit stronger in the forwards than they were for TRC. If England win or are competitive for the whole match, I don't like the chances of the Wallabies against them or Wales.
