Thompson and Gill finding any and all isolated runners.

    Reds v Rebels Rd 14, 2015

Inmans hands have been poor outside the pass on the defensive try line.

    Reds v Rebels Rd 14, 2015

Rebels better so far, Genia looks shot. Slipper beaten fair and square at scrum time by PAE in both instances so far. Reds coming back into the game though, need to get some more points on the board.

    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

Handful of Games, middling performance. Glasgow have signed him on a 2 year deal as a 5th string lock for next season.

    Rebels 2015

Would reckon that Metcher, Gillespie and Sexton are only a matter of time. Samo probably retires. We'll likely retain Hegarty, assuming he doesn't get a better offer elsewhere. Whittaker was only injury cover, and I'd reckon we'd retain one of Kingston and Telusa. would give us: Hookers Pat...

    Rebels 2015

Leaves Samo, Hegarty, Telusa, Kingston, Metcher, Gillespie, Sexton and Whittaker as the only boys without a contract either here, or somewhere else. With Higgers (Japan), Inagaki(Japan), Burgess (Italy), PAE (France) and Neville (Reds) signed at other clubs.

Super Rugby 2015, the run home

Tahs will probably top the conference. They did lose to the force, but they've got an easier run in (ignoring Africa), and a game in hand. Losing out on 2nd spot would depend on the next 3 weeks for the Rebels. If we knock over the Sharks and the Reds, preferably with a try bonus against the...

    HSBC Glasgow 7's (Round 8) 9-10 May

NZ qualified for Rio. England have a chance to build on their lead against the Canadians in the 3rd quarter final. Up first though, Fiji v South Africa. Big big game.

Think Tamati will come straight back in, we lose something in alignment on both A & D when he's off the park. Expect McMahon and Weeks on the bench for Fuglistaller and Metcher.

    Rebels 2015

Ultimately, we need at least a tighthead, a lock, a number 8 and a halfback to replace PAE, Neville, Higgenbotham and Burgess, in the squad if not the 23, with other direct replacements to come as players retire or move on. Any other talent will just be improving on what we already have.

    Rebels 2015

Backrowers vs Flankers. A 6/8 is what I'd like, not a 6/7. Otherwise don't matter.

    Reds 2015

I thought that was CFS to the Tahs?

    Rebels 2015

Never going to object to talent but we've got 4 Super Rugby quality opensides, 3 of which are contracted next season and the other is in the form of his life. Trying to get an 8, or a lock, or both, might be a better use of our money, unless we could negotiate a Cummins/Foley/McCalman type deal...

Friday 8th May, Rebels v Blues @ AAMI Park

As I said, it's about bloody time we get some home town calls.

    Best. Season. Ever.

Friday 8th May, Rebels v Blues @ AAMI Park

Think we've started getting some home town calls in the last 2 games. About time too, last one I remember before the last few games was round 2 2011 with that last minute penalty for our first win.

Well done by the blues halfback. Try made by him.

Friday 8th May, Rebels v Blues @ AAMI Park

Lots of slow passing and kicking within the 22, very easy for the Blues to put pressure on.
