    Wallabies 2020

^^^^^I think you have your Lolesio blinkers on BR but yes, next week will be interesting for the 10s.

    Waratahs 2020

Apologies, I stand corrected, he wasn't one of the U20s players from last year. He was in the NSW Country NRC team though last year, at the age of 19. SO he must have caught someone's eye that's for sure.

    Waratahs 2020

That he was in the U20s team last year? In seriousness though, I'm sure he has some, maybe he's just not ready for this level yet. He obviously trained well enough to be selected, looked a bit like he was struggling with the tempo of the game.

    Waratahs 2020

We play the Brumbies this week, or were you just commenting that the Rebels are a team we can beat generally? They actually mentioned in the commentary the amount of kicking options we have in the backline and it was clearly part of our strategy. Wamberal had a whinge about it but I just...

    2020 Super Rugby Round 2 - Waratahs v Force

Force have been supercharged and it’s great to see. Still reckon they’ll fold circa 60 mins. I’m biased though.

    Wallabies 2020

Has Nick got 60 caps? I’d be happy with that TBH.

    Wallabies 2020

All of that possibly still puts him ahead of the other options. Will see shortly, I’ll happily retract if he’s no good. It still won’t fix the issue.

    Wallabies 2020

yeeah. I'm hoping someone got it wrong though..at least one of the other four franchises.

    Wallabies 2020

Yes I'd agree that Tate is the standout of the available options. But there is still a big gap between him and White. I'm hoping Prior is a lesser gap.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It does. But it also reads like McLennan is going to get the shit together. Of course, the big query is what caveats Twiggy is going to put on things, and if they're actually workable within the bigger picture.

^^^^^go and have a look at the RA thread

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think there’s plenty of time, most of them have nowhere to play. We wouldn’t be looking to buy Pieter Steph du Toit et al, probably players from within the second 30 ranked, plus some ex-Boks/Pumas. I’d say the first box to tick is locking in how to pay for them, that means a comp, some idea...

    Wallabies 2020

The player I’m most interested in watching tonight is Ian Prior. Personally I don’t think any of the halfbacks from the other 4 franchises are worthy of gold. We’re looking for Whites understudy, and possible successor. Longer term it’s a bigger dilemma than 10 for me.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

Your read on To'omua is a bit different to the rest of Australia’s rugby community. Don’t mind the rest of the post though.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

Some of us have been telling you this for years. Wessells seems to have at least stopped him kicking it straight down the throat of the opposition attack though. However, I’ll pull you up on asking for him to be fired. Just play him at 12, he’s brilliant there.

    2020 crowds and ratings

Serious question - how do the set top boxes that monitor the viewers work if someone is switching back and forth between channels? Or one game ends and then they switch over to another after it finishes, which is half way through? Asking for a friend!

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

Totally understand, but on the flip it’s hard to train in the wet if it’s not wet.

    Wallabies 2020

After what seems like 20 years I’m finally adding CFS to my squad. He’s been great post Covid.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

Only it hasn’t been wet. March and April were wet, May and June were reminiscent of last year. Up here at least that is.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

I just switched back and forth a few times out of curiosity. The loig was shit too. The thing that made the broadcasts better, dare I say it, was the fake crowd noise. Just made it seemed like a better atmosphere. It was still shit though.
