    It depends if we are about "limiting damage" or having a go, I would rather lose 8 tries to 4 than lose 3 tries to 1 or 2 playing "all-out Deans"

    Yeah, Kellaway was good and looked at home in super rugby, but he needs to work on his effectiveness as that last line of defense. His reading of the game allowed him to clean up kicks, but that same ability didn't help him in defense as he cleanly missed too many one on one tackles in cover

    I think there are some differences between the two examples; 1/ Hodge had many established, better options ahead of him, injured or not he was fringe, Simone has less. 2/ Simone has been in and out of professional'ish squads and works as a fitness trainer for a few years so his core fitness...

    As he should, Pocock is a better 8 today than Timani. It isn't like Timani's dynamism at lineout (his only possibility of being better than Pocock as an 8) will do anything to combat the Ab's when in all likelihood we will run a load of 5 or 6 man lineouts anyway

    Kellaway looks to be playing on one leg at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised to see him holding a knee surgery booking for a couple of days after the NRC final

    I firmly believe Hooper and Pocock would have been just as effective against Argentina, probably more effective
