Who would be Wallaby captain for RWC if Rocky isn't fit?

I'd say a few months out from a RWC you don't think too far ahead. Sharp for me by a country mile. The knockout stages of the Cup is trench warfare. He's the right guy to lead in that sort of situation.

Media alert: Australian rugby union to announce major decision on the future of rugby

http://www.keo.co.za/2011/04/25/aussie-latest-elsom-still-struggling/#more-77414 Oops. I was joking on that third point but could it be?

Media alert: Australian rugby union to announce major decision on the future of rugby

Immediate abolishment of all scrums at all levels of rugby? Jonathan Kaplan and his future offspring on the border blacklist? Rocky retires because of injury?

    Mallet to leave Italy post-RWC

Is there anything another coach could do better with the playing stock available? Seems they are forever trying new players and going nowhere. Especially in the backs. PS I reckon they are a good 5/8 away from playing a lot better.

    Depth, or lack thereof

In their defense the Crusaders probably made too many changes in one go. They went well when the only change was Berquist but they rested SBW and the new 10/12 combo was pretty crap. Still surprised how average they looked but that takes away from the Clan who I canlt help but liking plenty at...

    Depth, or lack thereof

As can be expected, squad depth is playing a major role in the way the season is playing out, but even a little more than was probably expected before the comp started. Some teams are almost seamlessly replacing players and keeping a consistent game plan going while others really struggle...

Waratahs show misguided sense of entitlement after tough loss to Reds

For all his great leadership etc etc , to me Waugh has all but lost his dynamism. He is too slow for the pace the game is played at. He is no longer a premier openside and his play makes too little impact on the game. The Tah game plan needs an openside that makes big plays and they are no...

    Gavin Henson

Lol you beat me to it. I was going to suggest that the Brumbies need a fourth first receiver. Seriously the guy is super talented but he obviously has some mental issues. I remember seeing him in a test match early in his career in SA and he looked the goods. Sounds like more trouble...

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

It was not intended at him but a general perception of yes, Force supporters. I'll try be more explicit next time just for you. Brumbies supporters are cadavers in comparison. Making disparaging remarks about them would be too cruel.

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

Agreed. I never believe in teams losing. The Bulls were woeful but the Force still had to put points on the board, which they did. Well done Force. They have balls. Just wish their supporters could show some grace, but by now I've learnt that it's too much to ask.

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

Fair enough. But that's not why they lost this game. How do you or I know the reasons for naming the team early? One reasons is that the team is blatantly bloody obvious. There is nobody pushing for a starting spot, such is the lack of depth. The Bulls are at the end of an era. Some are...

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

vd Westhuizen. Two knock ons, tries the intercept to let the Force in. Fuckwit. Retire already. Full marks to Force for persistence. Bulls are a spent, well, force.

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

Dippenaar the most useless player in a Bulls jersey in ten years. He is a mistake on legs. I can't believe the terrible skills from the Bulls all round. Speechless.

    Force V Bulls - 2011R10

Fuck knows what the Bulls do in training. The basics are nowhere. Bakkies and Spies are passengers.

    Reds vs Waratahs, 2011R10

Most other teams would have taken the lead. By kicking penalties.

    Reds vs Waratahs, 2011R10

    Uligia botched his first throw.

    Reds vs Waratahs, 2011R10

Sure, although I should have said in clutch games, as this was. They needed to shrink the margin to one game in the Aus conference. Now it's an 11 point margin for the Reds. Costly.
