R11: Waratahs vs Sharks @ Western Sydney Stadium - Saturday 27 April 2019

I finally went back and saw the Holloway incident............ He should've received a second red card for stupidity.

And that's why AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) doesn't kick, or pass.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Ah yep, he was initially overlooked in the French series but then had the surgery ruling him out of the RC.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Nope, read above......... The knee injury was in 2012, which led to Phipps getting his first starting gigs under Deans. Genia played every test in 2013, with a few on the bench, and then was axed from the French squad in 2014 prior to surgery.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Nope, Genia wasn’t injured - he lost the captaincy, and was dropped for White for a few games in 2013 (Genia was on the bench), before returning to the starting team. But then Link sensationally dropped Genia for the 2014 domestic test series and preferred White and Phipps, who were the form...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

The other halfbacks at that time were Genia and Phipps, and White was deemed good enough by Link to earn a number of starts over them.......... Granted, Genia was not playing well in those few years before his brief stint o/s.

Super Rugby 2019 Predictions - Aussie Conference

If two of the teams have a good run home it's possible........ at the moment the Tahs are 2nd in the Aus conference although sitting in 8th overall, but there's only 6 points separating 3rd and 13th. Aside from the Crusaders (39 friggin' points), and to a much lesser extent the Hurricanes...

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

I hope they continue that form for the two matches they still have against the Brumbies.........

Super Rugby 2019 Predictions - Aussie Conference

Now that the Australian conference has tightened up, it's an interesting run home......... The current standings: Rebels 24 Waratahs 20 Brumbies 19 Reds 18 Sunwolves 11 The Rebels and Tahs probably have the toughest run home in the group as well......... The Rebels have the bye this...

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

The pass, and then the acceleration through the gap for that last Crusaders gap............ wowsers.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Actually, the triple ellipses has been my trademark posting style that's stuck with me since the days of dial up.........

    No................

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Phipps was certainly better with ball in hand and in defence............ White had a better passing and kicking game, but he was certainly more of a NH style playmaking halfback.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

So useless he helped win us the RC against the All Blacks.......... He was also the Super Rugby leader in try assists in that year with the Brumbies. So, so useless.........

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

The Kiwis have regularly shown us in recent years that box kicking is a real weapon if it's executed right and you have chasers......... And it's important for the halfback to have a good kicking game for exiting your half.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Considering how far we are behind Ireland, Wales and England.......... I'm not so sure about that. But while I'm conflicted about White returning to the Brumbies with Powell and another good young local up and comer in Lonergan, I have to say that from what I've seen of Nic White he has really...

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

I know they picked up injuries earlier in the year but any reason why the Brumbies pair - Goddard and Jimenez, are absent?

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Interesting if true........... His form o/s would easily make him the second best eligible halfback for the Wallabies.........
