    The JOC (James O'Connor) Saga

I agree except for the KPI's, the employer set's the KPI's, not the employee.

    The JOC (James O'Connor) Saga

No new teams on the horizon, I think they have had their fill of publicity stunts for the short term.

    The JOC (James O'Connor) Saga

I cant imagine his footwork being an outstanding asset in AFL. You don't get to run at the opposition and put a step on, as the bloke tackling you is mostly running alongside you tagging you all the way. But he sure could teach them a thing about tackling, though once again it is more...

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Technically there really isn't much discussion, most people know how valuable he is to the wallabies........... and then there is QWERTY. Did he eventually get the top up? I thought I read in another thread the public out cry prompted them to give it to him.

    The JOC (James O'Connor) Saga

Reading between the lines, i'm guessing they didn't use an agent to save a few bucks and just had a lawyer for the contractual stuff. I'm betting his dad had a lot to say in his ear and maybe got a little bit caught up in how valuable he was and the Force have just gotten sick of the amateurish...

    The JOC (James O'Connor) Saga

Wow, I didn't see that coming, but am really pleased with the way Force management have handled it. It shows they are on the right track to building a champion team, instead of a team of champions. Quite sad we have seen JOC (James O'Connor) in a Force jersey for the last time due to his suspension for the...

    Berrick Barnes takes a break

And if he doesn't make it back, like Elton Flatley came out and said today there is a great to life to be had after Rugby.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

I second that, show those hacks the door. I'm sure we can find some more former players and show horn them into a wallaby jersey. My big tip is Ella to 10.

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

I take it they are just resting Colby? Hopefully he is not injured. Lucky to have a replacement like Hooper.

    Western Force vs Reds, 2011R17

I just watched the ending again with out the red cloud of adrenalin inhibiting most of my senses, how good was that pass. Is there anyone else in Australia who could have thrown that pass? I don't think so.

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

Just watched Extra time, Carter's try celebration was naff, but Dave Dennis was easily worse.

    Western Force 2012

Come one Hawko, he deserves the drop goal ribbing. As far as brain farts go, that was freaking epic. But i'm sad to lose him too, he was really finding form this year at the Force.

    Repeated Trauma Encephalopathy

I haven't watched much NFL, but most of their high speed collision seem to when two players are diverging at 90' or an even more acute angle as they work down field. Blocking around the ruck being a legitimate play in NFL reduces the frequency of front on collisions. As opposed to rugby where...

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

I can't help but think Tom is partly paying the price for his reputation. Last year he was widely derided for his constant hand bagging which pointed to a lack of maturity. To be fair he has fixed it this year and is now also showing good form, but in a RWC year he just isn't going to get an...

    Wallaby Injuries

Pat McCabe could be a revelation at this years worldcup. I think he is one of those players who could come in and play well without heaps of international experience. Infact, I would go as far to say as we need him in the 22 at the RWC.
