    Where to for Super Rugby?

Pro12 broadcast deal is pretty tiny at the moment, around 10m gbp a year iirc. Plenty of opportunity for expansion, if there's an audience. Will be interesting to see if they can get more interest out of the big eu/GB broadcasters with the teams proposed Sent from my D5833 using Tapatalk

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

What's the forecast for the weekend? Thought the ABs didn't handle the conditions well last week, which is pretty suprisingly given the touch ups they've given us in the wet over the years

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Another incredible number, the decline in viewership (4m) is pretty much the entirety of our total Super Rugby viewers on Foxtel for the year. Sent from my D5833 using Tapatalk

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Is it that teams and refs and much more aware of the non-engagement so no ruck, so no offside line, these days? Sent from my D5833 using Tapatalk

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Farrell is going to have an absolute hell of an evening if these tactics keep up. Aiming everything down his way

Even used car salesmen make sure there's always a boss out the back for giving permission to accept offers. You don't do it at the table Sent from my D5833 using Tapatalk

Reds do as well. Is it just 9 NRL teams v one Tahs?

    The Wallabies Thread

What does the coach of a Shute Shield or NRC team get paid? Do they even get paid at all? Can see why aspiring coaches want to get onto a professional team as soon as they can.

    "Transparency" at the ARU

Spiro should name and shame his source. "When we accept off-the-record briefings, we enter into a contract of confidentiality with the source and we therefore publish in good faith. But if we find that we have been deliberately lied to, then any obligation of confidence is removed. Sources...

    Unpopular opinion thread

"The NSW Rugby Union is set to dump the second-placed Canberra Vikings from the Sydney competition in an effort to return the first-class premiership to a purely local competition. Newcastle dropped out of the 14-team competition last year, citing a lack of funds and pressure from the larger...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Only from the annual report, I have no idea on accuracy of any of this... Around 30% of additional revenue goes to the players, so $6m Additional travel costs for Super Rugby of $5m Extra $4m for community rugby They did additional marketing of $2m They ran a $4m surplus $20m allocated Sent...

    Refereeing decisions

I've always thought there was a good argument that rolling the jackler to the ground and off the ball was collapsing the ruck and therefore illegal. Think everyone has agreed to let it happen in the interests of having a game occassionally Sent from my D5833 using Tapatalk
