England v Australia, Saturday 3 December

and vice versa, I am happy to cheer on the AB's against everyone except the wobs. Against the wobs, they are cheating, evil bastards ;)

That is more about not playing some teams, four times in a year than Aus's quality. If we played the ABs 4 four times each year, every year the stats would be much, much higher (or the current england side or the english side or 2001/2/3 etc etc)

Except you are wrong about the "little impact" bit, Hooper's workrate in immense, he leads the defensive line, kick chases and is our most effective forward ball runner with a massive motor. We are running a defensive structure where Hooper shoots in defence to turn the attack in close. We...

Yeah, what we don't know is how he his body (and mind) is handling the physicality of test match rugby. This is a long series of week on week test matches

I think we may want more aggression from the start so we could see both Douglas and Timani start this one, agree with Sefa.

again, who were the other THP options instead of him that would have been a marked improvement (he did pretty well)

It is a continual process, I think the major challenge(s) has been the time it took settle on a locking pair; and then Coleman got wounded. But also Kepu wasn't starting in form (but was still our best THP), Sio has struggled all season, as has Slipper, and then we have a newbie THP reserve...

Whereas I don't believe that is where we could be at the moment. Our tight five isn't equal to the ABs, Eng (or Ireland) at the moment It is getting there, but at the moment it isn't and there are no messiahs not being selected

Just being realistic, we aren't that good at the moment. We have flashes of potential, but that is all

You haven't seen better rugby been played through the season? We have lost to a bloody good pommy team, the ABs, the Boks away and the Ireland away. Out of those the Boks away is the real let down IMHO because they are the pants

Nail on head, sometimes we get out played, this was one of those occasions. But is was great to see the fight back (playing some great rugby) but it wasn't enough

I think we will lose this by 2 tries. England will nulifiy us for long, long periods

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

who is the ref? Pocock got smashed in the penalties as well and the "penalty magnet" could just add to that misery if the ref is prone to be as harsh on the ruck area and pilfering as the Frenchman

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

Yep, you simply can't do that any more. every player knows it
  17. fatprop

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

    yeah, but they don't
  18. fatprop

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

Yeah I agree, be dominant and the ref becomes irrevevant
