    Ma'a Nonu to the Sharks?

Yeah I'd be very surprised if he doesn't go to the Chiefs or France.

    Ma'a Nonu to the Sharks?

Tell you what he'd fit right into their style of play. Sharks midfield is pretty terrible and with a world class 12 and 13 they would be a real chance to win the comp.

Semi Final 1: Blues vs Waratahs

So the Guppies squeezed him through as a half back and play him at ten? Sneaky fish. I suppose technically it has to be legit? In the case of the Tahs they can't really make a case for Vicks as a back rower and then play him as lock or something similar.

    Bokke Tri Nation Squad/Camp

BJ Botha, Bismarck, Beast Bekker, Matfield (yes I think they can play together) Juan, Schalk, Brussow Fourie Du P M Steyn Jean de Villiers Juan de Jongh Fourie JP Pietersen Aplon Bench: Bakkies, Rossouw, Jannie Doep, J Smit, Ruan Pienaar, F Steyn, Butch BJ Botha is still a better scrummager...

    Bokke Tri Nation Squad/Camp

Paarl there is an abvious trend in the picks: Almosts NO new players. Muller won't play much. He will be one of the first out the door. I think a lot of these players are there as backups so that they can be briefed and told what is expected of them, be familiar with the squad etc. Elstadt...

    Bokke Tri Nation Squad/Camp

Agree on all accounts but Kirchner. Nothing wrong there. He has been part of the system and a very solid player. I wouldnlt start him in any games and with the links of Lambie, Steyn and Aplon arounf he might miss out.

Waldrom selected in English RWC training squad

Had the likes of Brits not been capped for SA he would be starting for England. Don't see why it makes a difference how along Waldrom has been there. He is eligible. The English selectors can't start playing gatekeeper. The rules are clear. England has long been a destination for people all...

Waldrom selected in English RWC training squad

Another case in point. Schalk Brits. Told in no uncertain terms by White he is too small, and then by PdV that he is about the seventh best hooker in SA. So what must he do? Be happy to play out his career at the WP and Stormers, or go overseas and at least make a good living and secure his...

    Stade Francais Bankrupcy

Seems many other French club are either swimming in cash or have big ego investors behind them. From what I have read clubs like Racing and Toulouse are doing very well. Too early to call the end of the frog cash train reckon.

Rugby-Penalty shootouts introduced for tied Super finals

A fistfight with last man standing would be excellent in comparison.

    Phil Waugh retires

Good to see he is not selfish. It is commendable when players know that it is time to move on.

The Elsom Saga - Clubs withdrawing offers is all the rage...

That's true. Difference is that Matfield seems to get onto the park. For such a long career he has missed very few games. For Elsom it's been big injuries for two years. Question: does anyone know if he played through injury at Leinster and thsi is now the fallout from that?

    Bokke Tri Nation Squad/Camp

Of course. He is the coach's darling. If I were Sarel Pretorius I would get me an agent to go get myself top dollar overseas. Go play in England or come here. He'll make International squads in most other countries.

    SA Conferense and Derbies

First timeI have seen him. Didn't at all look out of place. Shit that's sad for Duane. I think with Rassie in the Bok setup he would have been a real chance for the 3N at least. Koster is a very different player. Not as physical. Brings pace though. As far as I'm concerned, Vermeulen is the...

Semi Final Qualifier 2: Crusaders v Sharks: Nelson

Paarl I think you meant "Cauldron". Like a moerse big potjie :). I think the Guppies will run the Saders close but the travel will get them.
