    2011 Super Rugby Stat Attack!

Cheers for the write up TOCC.

Why cant you wait for super rugby?

Continuation of the rise of the Reds and Horwill back on the park. Also to get a good look at some of the upcomming talent that is being raved about in Sydney and Brisbane.

    2011 Rnd 1 Reds v Force

Kev for Wallaby THL in 2011 for all the reasons you mention Lee. Beyond opens right up as Douglas develops experience but a future Wallaby 4,5,6 of Simmons, Douglas and Horwill is very dynamic. Playing the odd game at 6 for the Reds will not harm Kev. It accomodates Simmons to develop...

    Reds 2011

Weeks is good but he made his decision and we will not miss him at all. Weeks = mobile prop and good scrum. Slipper = mobile prop and good scrum. He will not be missed.

I would not be suprised if Robbie locks in for another two years.

    The defence of Matt Giteau

I think Mitchell might draw the short straw with a back three of Beale, Iaone and O'Connor. I would much rather let our depth work for us and let these questions be sorted out through Super 15 form. Same for the THP spot.

Nah after the Reds revival Sookface is off the hook. His last couple of games at 12 for the Wallabies were awsome. I rate running Barnes over kick the shit out of everything Barnes. He worked well with cooper and not against him.

    The defence of Matt Giteau

If Kev is Fit, he is in form. He just one of those players that always delivers. Pocock and Moore are the same in that sense. Constantly reliable is my criteria for first picked.

    2011 Rnd 1 Reds v Force

Lucas will spend a lot of time at full back this year. Prior impressed me from what I saw of him. The back three will also be tough to select. I like the idea of Holmes as the starting LHP.

    Match Officials

Anybody know if their are some good young refs kicking around in your area that could be developed for higher honors (would love to hear your thoughts on this Lee Grant and your take on SA Paarl). We have a young fella in Darwin Jacob Barlow who is completely wasted up here. He is an amaizing...

    Waratahs 2011

Big man syndrome. Thinks his size over rides his need to work on his technique.

    The defence of Matt Giteau

If all were fit, First Wallaby picked would be James Horwill and then I would go Stephen Moore. I like TPN but Moore does the fundimentals so much better. EDIT - Forgot about Pocock, my bad.

Did you take one for the team and offer yourself up as a tackle bag for him Reg. ;)

    Blues Vs Chiefs Pre-season

The key is Ali Williams staying fit.

    The defence of Matt Giteau

The only two Wallabies to have consistantly great seasons were Sharpe and Pocock. Others had their ups and downs. Lots of those players found their form at the end of year and that is what stands out the most. Mitchell was dropped which is hardly the mark of a great year. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was flat at the...

    Waratahs 2011

That makes them your classic chokers and no different to the Reds before they fell into their slump. Neither are causes for bragging rights.
