Well no, I have been to most of the SFS SS grand finals and they don't even have the paddington side second tier open, it seats 44,000 and the SS final may have got to 15,000 at best

Well not really, Sydney is a fickle market, start winning and "fans" return. (they also need to play good rugby) Play shit and it is easy to find something else to do

Reds vs Waratahs - 29th April RD 10

I thought it was interesting to see both sides consistently being cut up by inside passes The fitness and attitude was not there to get up and get accross and fill the space

They start looking like winning (and trying) and the crowds will return

With Hegarty playing 5 miles behind the advantage line and slowly, Phipps did look average. But he looked pretty good on Saturday, he was quick to the breakdown (he is quickest Aus 9 to the breakdown by miles) and with the Tahs playing flat his passing was pretty good.

I think we did start that move last season with Coleman and Arnold being the prime choices. Now we a a few younglings who I expect will get a bench time in the early tests vs Fiji & Italy But I wouldn't be surprised to still see Mumm and/or Simmons around the squad and on the bench vs Scotland

Karmichael Hunt looks like that every game, the guy is an out and out competitor, I think he could be our "Conrad Smith" for the Wobs

it is life mate, every day I expect I could be fined or arrested if every stupid law on the books was used. (jay walking, speeding, crossing a lane without signalling etc etc) You can watch every ruck, lineout or scrum with slow motion video and find "issues" on both attack or defense How...

you need balance, Smith needs those "mogrel" guys making dominant tackles and cleanouts to give him the opportunity to do his job

Nah, there will be always something being missed or ignored to keep a game flowing. Every scrum can be an issue

You can run through every game and finds hundreds of things a ref missed from either side

I thought a draw Both were pretty good, Horwitz kept Kerevi quiet, made some good yards I thought Clarke looked better actually, no dumb decisions, very safe under the high ball took the ball up with vigor and continually got over the gain line

The Tahs closed out a tight game by holding their discipline and not giving away a shed load of penalties unlike the Reds who didn't hold their discipline and gave away a shed load of unnecessary penalties

It may also be that both Phipps and Lucas are better forward drivers, Gordon is a great runner, but doesn't really direct the pigs in close like the other two.

I don't care what they do as long as it works, so far it hasn't worked

Good to Simone on the bench, he looked bloody good in the SS on Saturday

The rubbish SA sides always have a low turnout. Stick the game in the middle of the school holidays and the crowd was always going to be crap
