Well, you can't interfere with the integrity of the product on the pitch. What would the betting companies think? Have to keep them on side.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It's something I've thought about a few times since Alisports announced their investment in the game in China. Asia is a malor growth market for the game amd we are ideally situated to align our interests with that growth. It would require a great deal of bravery but as you suggest. Are we...

2017 TV ratings and crowd figures

If it were to occur I'd like to see the player market opened up and players feature in both nations teams. Something we've seen is Australian players can and often do excel in the NZ systems. I honestly think a Trans-Tasman competition would be a worthwhile endeavour that will deliver the...

Something I seriously doubt will change anytime soon. At least not in the SANZAAR structure.

    Round 3 : Reds v Crusaders - 11 March 2017 - Suncorp Stadium

Reds went the full retard in the 2md half. Quite amazing really.

Right. There's even skill involved. This hasn't featured all that much in Australian Rugby of late.

    Round 3 : Reds v Crusaders - 11 March 2017 - Suncorp Stadium

I'm not sure what I'm watching. It looks like an Aus team playing entertaining Rugby but I'm still not too sure.

But it could be structured in such a way that could overcome there concerns. Divide the competition into 3 x 6 conferences. Each conference plays in conference rivals for 10 rounds. This would be used as a means of determining rankings 1-6. From there teams are split into a further three pools...

    Western Force 2017

As suggested in the article. Centralisation of the professional game is an absolute must but considering the levels of ego that exist within we likely won't ever see.

Not quite a global season but progress nonetheless.

Apparemtly the June window will be shifted back to July and the 6Ns will eliminate one of their rest periods from 2020. This will allow Super Rugby to run in a continous block. http://m.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11814662

Could even make a case for 3 x 6 conferences where you play each team in your conference twice for 10 games and everyome else from the other two conference once for a total of 22 games. This way we could keep one united table with a top 8. Would run for no more than 25 weeks. This would give...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

This would be the best model short of a Champioms League set up.

Or you could say it has to do with accessibility.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It's the most sensible structure. Always was. Even with the need to accomodate the Kings and Jaguares plus expanding into Japan. No idea why they chose the current clusterfuck of a format. It gives everyone more domestic content plus maintains the international nature of the competition.

The collapse of PRO in the US has more to do with its owner than anything.

    Waratahs 2017

I actually broke my jaw playing. Didn't realise it and continued playing. Didn't have it set either as to pretty much everyone I've told this to surprise. I didn't realise it was. It wasn't until a year had passed and a doctor noticed that my teeth had droppee on the right of my mouth and...

    Waratahs 2017

We had a kid back when I coached who was slammed off the ball and received a concussion. He had to sit out the rest of the season (which was about 6 weeks at the time) with headaches. Overall it took a couple of months for him to fully recover.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'd prefer my take on TOCC's Champions League idea. Has both a strong domestic and international component. Has the opportunity to emgage new territories more easily as well.
