    Where to for Super Rugby?

Where would the Sunwolves and Jaguares play?

    A great game of rugby.

An interesting model employed often in the US is the multi-school Rugby club. It's something we should look at if you are looking to form greater connection between the two. How they tend to work is that they run 14s, 16s and 18s and as above source kids from a range of different schools.

    Rebels 2017

He might develop. But frankly I don't see the value in him when we actually have a player of greater potential running around in Japan.

Will you be heading to Cologne next week?

Adding to the above Georgia had to really battle to overcome Spain 20-10 in Valladolid.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Germany have beaten Belgium 34-27 in Offenbach. Crowd in attendance was a little over 4100 but the game was widely watched on TV in Germany. Waiting for exact numbers. They have a game against Spain in a fortnight in Cologne which is set to be a sell out with about 10,000 likely to attend.

    Rebels 2017

I still think Simon Cron would be more than worth a shot. The bloke has shown some serious nouse when it comes to coaching. His teams also play the game expansively with skill. He'd be a good buy for the Rebels imo. Also, cut JBG loose and bring Sam Greene back from Japan.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think it would be fairly ballsy for us to up and decide to realign ourselves with Asia. Not saying I don't like the general idea of it in fact if there was the money available I be all for it. I tend to believe Asia is a huge potential market for Rugby and any organisation brave enough to make...

    Round 2: Hurricanes V Rebels, Venue TBC, March 4 @ 3:15 AEST

Didn't mean you had to keep him once the new ownership came on board.

    Round 2: Hurricanes V Rebels, Venue TBC, March 4 @ 3:15 AEST

Seriously. The Rebels are seriously rubbish at the moment. JGB is the worst pick up this year. Seriously we have Sam Greene running around in Japan while he has a Super Rugby contract. He couldn't do a worse job. Ridiculous. If I were the Rebels I'd be feeling out Simon Cron right now.

Declining participation and ARU plans for the future

Well, the Super Rugby franchises run their own shows.

That's not Pulver's doing. It's the individual organisations.

I'd take another competitive nation from Sth America first.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Brazil has beaten Canada in Sao Paulo 24-23. This ends a very poor Americas Rugby Championship for Canada having lost 4 of their 5 games. It also see's them slip out of the top 20 to 23rd in the World rankings while Brazil jump to 31st. This is the second Nth American scalp Brazil has managed...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Seriously doubt we'll anything from PRO Rugby this year or ever again. The organisation has effectively destroyed all the collective goodwill that once existed among the Rugby community in the States. Which is kind of vital at the moment. From everything I've read and heard the organisation...
