    Wallabies vs England, Perth

Noooo... Valentine was dreadful, and I'm a Brumbies fan. Slooooow service, passes to Barnes on the bounce.

    Wallabies vs England, Perth

Erm, which Reds fullback can you possibly mean? </ironymode>

I don't get all these journalists hyping Cowan as being a likely starter for Saturday. Sounds like typical Aussie rugby journalism to me: an agenda to be taken with a dose of salts.

    Aus Babas v. Poms

Unfortunately, the two dropped balls you missed were comparative sitters with the try line begging.

    All Blacks v Ireland

Hmmm... I don't know about 'not a lot of bother'. We were in the hunt up until the closing minutes in a few of those games. Don't say that to a Kiwi though: they are full of stories about how they crushed and and will do it again this year.

    New Kooga Wallabies kit

That would work quite well with sequinned patent leather boots and a construction helmet.

    New Kooga Wallabies kit

My son grew up with the Canterbury man-bra jerseys. I guess that makes them traditional as well.

    New Kooga Wallabies kit

Yes, good point. I meant Australia's real sporting teams.

    New Kooga Wallabies kit

I like the jersey, and I also like the size of the numbers. It's a traditional look. The shade of yellow is in line with the rest of australia's sporting teams. The old one was like custard.

Similarly, it is hard to see Rupeni dealing very well with either of those two in defence, or Giteau for that matter, in his current shape. He still has good top end pace but it is hard to turn 125kg of jelly round in a hurry.

I'm just excited to see Beale, Horne and Cooper in the same team. Along with JOC (James O'Connor) they are the future. We'd better get bloody used to it!! :-)

    Wallabies v Fiji, Canberra

Kurtley and Quade have been playing together in representative teams for a decade, often in these respective positions. I think we can hope for more than them 'forming a combination of sorts'.

Thanks Tiger, looks great! Just registered.

    Wallabies v Fiji, Canberra

I think the point the article was making, Paris Tah, was that the court case precluded Beale playing in the Barbarians game, and Deans wanted him to play in one of the games.

    Wallabies v Fiji, Canberra

Can anyone recommend a proper rugby pub in central Brisbvegas where they'll have it on a big screen with the volume up?

    Wallabies v Fiji, Canberra

This backline is a nicel-judged experiment. Deans is testing Beale and Horne to see who goes best. If Beale goe best he'll get a shot at England, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) will play 13 and Schmoo will go on the wing. If Horne goes best then he'll get a shot at England, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) will play 15 and Schmoo will go on the wing.

Slim, have you ever actually been to a Brumbies game? ;) I can remember in the early days at Bruce when the fans used to spit on the opposing team as they ran through the tunnel. Hell, I was one of them. [not really]

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

People need to relax. :) Chis may not be the best lock going round but he's an experienced head in a young group. We have a lot of players down injured at the moment and we can use all the caps we can get, for the sake of the overall squad, especially with so many in just their second year of...
