Fixed, Powell is a bench option in Super rugby at the moment

They were all pretty crap this week. He has the potential to be that solid super player that every team needs who plays at a standard that can be relied on week in, week out.

In test rugby, I think there is always a lag in selections, but the production line doesn't miss many real test players. We get a churn of fringe units, some "why the hells" and there is some guys kept on for a few too many games in retrospect, but it is usually as good as we have I can't...

I thought he had a good chance to play 13 next season outside Kurtley, he still may, as we don't know if the Rebels will be around

I think it is worth looking at some of the tactics the Lions used to counter ABs tactics The quick lineout, their kicks went out and chase simply negated any speedy play. All your, no NZ side was aloud a free pass to counter. Or they were totally contestable and contested. The Lions also...

Don't the swans train in the same area? You would think it wouldn't be hard to do some cross training

Waratahs v Jaguares, Round 16 - Saturday 8 July, Allianz Stadium

This is a quote from the planetrugby review of the ponies/Reds game but I think it is apt for this game as well "There has been plenty of criticism aimed at the standard of play delivered by Australian teams during this year's tournament and judging from this encouter that criticism is...

Or the reality of living within your means or "we want a more dynamic tighter, hands on integrated coaching team that can provide a clear clean message" In the end it is a game of rugby, not brain surgery, not building a rocket ship. Get the pricks really fit, pointing in the same direction...

They have, at times, been far better in the second half after dire starts But yeah fitness and attitude must be improved

Neither have the direct tight workrate we actually lack, both play too loose, lack accuracy and consistent aggression. (we have a few like that already) Simmons while being very good at lineout is neither athletic enough for the LH lock nor aggressive and accurate enough for the TH lock

As do a load of the Tahs pigs, he isn't alone there

    Waratahs 2017

I think with Cron rolling in we have a double down on the kiwi focus on fitness, athleticism and workrate It will be interesting to see who lifts and meets expectations and who plays more SS. I see Holloway, Toleafoa and Dempsey as units who all need to do more of the essential forwards...

Hollaway, plays more like David Lyons than Dan Vickerman Playing lock means more than packing in the second row, it is playing tighter, cleaning out and tackling hard.
