Not the point, he ain't near the best and he will never be that, so what is the point of him? To me, these kind of units are the metaphor with what is wrong with Aus super rugby. They just add little value being the "back up", that role should be for a young Aus 10 there to learn and develop.

    Waratahs 2018

Yeah, throughout my childhood I was taken to Cumberland Oval most Sundays to see the Eels lose again and usually badly (Saturdays were spent at TG Milner watching the Woodies in-between touch matches on the top oval) I guess that taught me being a supporter is more about the backing a side...

To kick goals he has to be able to get in the side, at his age it is a good move. Powell will have to markedly improve his game to keep him from starting

    Waratahs 2018

From the SMH ........................................... only surprised about Brad Wilkin, I guess his injury and others sort of stepping up has dragged him down the pecking order

I don't think too many employment decisions will be made until the super side is cut 13 could be English or Peni in the end

    Waratahs 2018

I really think the most positive step Gibson has planned so far for next season is to take over their biggest area of need himself. Could it go bad, absolutely, but it is a big positive call There will be no where to hide

I could see 11 Kellaway - he has had his second season blues, let us see how he pulls up 12 Simone - I still think he is the future 13 Folau 14 Clarke 15 Beale

    Waratahs 2017

Hoiles and Mehrtens said something interesting about Gibson last night Hoiles said he was an excellent assistant\hands on coach and Mehrtens added that, like Wayne Smith, the distant Head Coach style may just not suit him. So next year he is going to be a more hands on unit taking over their...

Actually, no, my point was both the Force units have looked far better, more complete units and appear to be the future But if the choice was between Powell or Phipps? it would be Phipps every day despite his passing issues. Today, he simply has more upside in speed to clear, defense and...
