    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

Played a lot of 12 in last year's PNC (Pacific Nations Cup). Won't play 13 in any regard. Nayacaleavu (can't spell it, but stade francais centre) is too good.

You need to shut down the Octopus as well. There wouldn't be a back in the world who wouldn't want to be running off Naka at this moment, he's in ridiculous touch. Highlights video isn't the best of quality, but he's amazing.

    Rebels 2016

If Metcher is out for an extended period of time, we could do worse than picking up Jono Owen on an injury replacement contract. He's finished up his contract with Grenoble and is currently playing with Auckland in the ITM cup.

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

While both sides gain on the dry track that Millennium provides, the Fijiians will gain a lot more relatively. Still, they "shouldn't" be a problem, especially given that they're coming off the short break of the Tournament opener and the Wallabies are planning on using the same starting XV...

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

No. Sio plays in the 16 jersey, but comes on for Slipper at loosehead sometime between 55ish and 70 minutes depending on other factors. If the hooker then starts cramping, or gets injured or something, Toby comes on for the hooker and Sio switches one to the right.

NRC Rnd 3: Sydney Stars vs Perth Spirit

Was perhaps a bit volatile, yes, but 3 posts up from yours I've said he plays for Glasgow.

    National Rugby Championship 2015

Combination of tired defenses around the edge of the ruck, and the players most likely to be running centrefield support lines?

    S18 on its way

Re: Georgia in the 6 Nations, not gonna happen. It "shouldn't" be the case, but there's minimal commercial incentive to go there, now or in the future, plus the Georgian club system is decidedly amateur compared to the Italians, even prior to the 2 Pro12 teams. And then they, in arguably their...

    Jonah Placid for the Wobblies.

    S18 on its way

Not to be conspiratorial or anything, but to me, that looks slightly like Japan has been put in the "weaker SA" pool and Argies in the tougher pool so that they can try and ensure 3 South African teams in the finals.

    Non-Wallaby RWC Warm Up Matches

The thing is, it's still one of the "longer" short turnarounds, 4 full days without a match, compared to most of the others who seem to be playing wither Saturday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Sunday. 1 day more isn't a huge amount of extra time, but it might be the difference between putting only...

NRC Rnd 3: Sydney Stars vs Perth Spirit

Mate. Mate. Mate. Mate. Mate. Mate. Mate. Mate. Mate. Glasgow. 1000 bloody points for Glasgow. And 320 odd points for Scotland, which would be even larger if he wasn't stuck behind the great Chris Patterson for 75% of the tests he played.

NRC Rnd 3: Sydney Stars vs Perth Spirit

Love me some Dan. First fly half I can clearly remember running around for Glasgow. Argue his limitations all you want, 1500 points at provincial level in shit sides along with 320ish at international level is nothing to be sneezed at. The way his playing career ended is perhaps not so bright...

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

He could do the 7s loophole at some point in the future, but the likelihood of that is somewhere between 0 and 0.5%

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

There's been iffy ones the whole match, but that one was just, urgh, baaad.

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Oof, bad call there, tackled then got up again without releqsing.

Simmons is off. No surprise you missed it, from a glance you wouldn't have known he was playing.

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Aussies scored 2 early tries. They then switched off, and stopped doing the hard stuff, USA has taken full advantage of that fact. Foley needs to control the game better. USA rush defence is good, so grubber or chip the ball in behind. Or play for territory, you've got a good handful of...

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

I'm sad. We get shit Australian commentators rather than shit American ones.

30 minutes later, still disappointed, but this guy has right attitude.
