RWC: Tonga v Georgia (Kingsholm) Pool C

Yes! Brilliant result. If the Georgians can beat the Canucks, they'll get automatic qualification for the next one, which would be nothing but fantastic.

RWC: Tonga v Georgia (Kingsholm) Pool C

Been harsh on the Georgians in general.

RWC: Tonga v Georgia (Kingsholm) Pool C

Yep. Pollock was in the best position in the ground to make the call.

RWC: Tonga v Georgia (Kingsholm) Pool C

Disagree with the commentators, think Nige got that one wrong. First contact from 1 on 5 is to the neck, then twists counterclockwise.

RWC: Tonga v Georgia (Kingsholm) Pool C

Nige harsh on the not rolling away, but as long as it's consistent it's not a problem.

How to watch all RWC games?

They're often idiots, but ultimately it depends what commentary you pick up. If it's the British Isles commentary then they'd probably assume you've watched the previous games, similar to 6 Nations coverage, given it's for a BI audience. Aussie or Kiwi commentators might be more mindful. And...

RWC: ENG v Fiji (Twickenham) Pool A

Shoulda played Matevesi ahead of Volavola. I adore Niko, but I wouldn't want him in my starting 9 Jersey. And why did we get Aussie commentators on the live broadcast? There's plenty of Aussie and minnow games for them to be at, why did we get them for this one too?

    Melbourne Rising 2015

Looking forward to it. Obviously Metcher is out for the tournament, but otherwise we look to be getting pretty damn close to the best 23.

RWC: ENG v Fiji (Twickenham) Pool A

Fun game for everybody. Drink every time Matawalu is called a bath player. Even though he's been to Bath once in his life to play in Glasgow Colours. If its not mentioned at least once, I'll change my flair to England for 3 months when Scotland gets knocked out.

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

Palu injured? Well, I'm shocked I tells ya, shocked!

    Brumbies 2016

It's a world cup year. Making "hard" decisions is part of the program. He's not gonna be selected at tighthead lock, Simmons nailed down the starting loosehead lock. He needed to show he was better than either Mumm or Fardy across 4/6 to be selected and Chieka obviously felt he didn't. If the...

RWC: ENG v Fiji (Twickenham) Pool A

I like Morgan over Billy. Billy is a fab player, but 20-30 minutes from him is better than 50-60 minutes.

    RWC Squads

Not make or break given it's 3rd string hooker for 4th string hooker, but McInally is a good enough backrower that he almost made his international debut at blindside 2 years ago, so it robs the squad of a little versatility.

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

Naka went to Glasgow as the 5th String lock at the beginning of the 13/14 season. His skillset is so good, combined with great work on the regular lock duties that he got bumped up to 4th string lock, and was shifted to 8 after Josh Strauss went down with injury on the eve of the finals, where...

    Brumbies 2016

Bit of Horwill Syndrome. Mumm preferred as Lock who can play 6, Fardy preferred as 6 who can play lock. Much as Mumm preferred as backup Loosehead lock to Horwill, and Skelton/Douglas preferred as tighthead lock.

Nakarawa would be in the 31 of every nation on earth.

I'd be shifting Pocock to blindside and playing Naka at 8 too. Nothing against Fardy.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I think you play either Mumm and Palu or Skelton and McCalman rather than Skelton and Mumm, just so you have an experienced 8thman at the back of the scrum.

    Rebels 2016

Obviously I can't say specifically having not seen him live in action. But as far as I can tell, having glanced at teamsheets and such over the past 18 or so months, that Mike seemed to be viewed at club level and for the tahs at loosehead primarily, albeit played 1 game off the bench at...
