    NSW AAGPS 2018

Now that we are at the end of the season, there is something that I wanted to record because I know many of you will be interested. I also want to pay thanks, Saturday at Shore I had a lovely chat with Kim McConville, Ken's daughter. I didn't know she was chair of the TAS Rugby club nor did I...

    CAS 2018

Now that we are at the end of the season, I wanted to thank all the contributors on this forum. This was the year in which iSA/CAS/GPS learned more about each other's comps then ever before. I enjoyed that. I know a 2019 forum is already up. Let's see what happens in 2019!

    ISA 2018

"Now that we are, I think, at the end of the season (I know some schools such as TAS) still have games, I wanted to thank CB and others for commentary here. While ISA coverage was still lower outside the preseason, this was (I think) the year in which GPS, IS and CAS people learned more about...

    NSW AAGPS 2018

In absolutely glorious weather in advance of the change, Shore hosted TAS. I wasn't able to watch all the matches and don't have precise scores. Left my pen at home, too. Unusually because Shore thirds had to to back up the seconds elsewhere, our firsts played at 11 with the !6As and 14Bs...

Laughs. Nostalgia is right! I am actually working on a nostalgia piece coming from today's game that I might put up here and on the TAS OA site. More broadly, I've been trawling back through the Armidiilans just trying to refresh my memory on results. Time we reminded a few of this Sydney lot...

Joker, you make me very hungry indeed!

We have to even things up somehow!

    NSW AAGPS 2018

Thanks for that UTG. I didn't realise that it was just the TAS games. Still, it will be better than Kings where only the firsts played and TAS outnumbered the Kings supporters. But "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers" will do our best to create an atmosphere. And maybe win! I was...

    NSW AAGPS 2018

That's a fair question, QH. I had to scratch my head. I don't think so.

That's a lovely story, Joker. From the TAS OA site, he is making progress and is grateful for the support he has been receiving including the #gunsoutfortombsy campaign. However, the family has also asked for privacy to allow him (and them) to focus on recovery.

Thank you. That's good news. It's a reminder to us all how accidents can happen. It's a reminder. too, of how much we depend upon our families and friends, our mates, to support us when things go wrong.

And tomorrow Adrian "Moose" Skeggs is joining the crowd to support his old team in their last match - as will I

At their last training session, the TAS Opens combined to send a message of support to Old Boy Richard Tombs following his accident

    NSW AAGPS 2018

Just back from Kings where in front of a tiny crowd - there were more and more enthusiastic TAS supporters than Kings - TAS defeated Kings thirds by, I think, 45-12. The Kings boys did not give up but TAS just had more firepower. For Joker, I cannot give a food report because there was no food...

    NSW AAGPS 2018

I don't mean to be discouraging or negative. How do we encourage more people to become involved?

    NSW AAGPS 2018

Those are depressing stats. I do not have an adequate response. I became involved because of the thirds and TAS. I consciously promoted the thirds comp and the minnows as a balance to the top focus. Hence my Father Jim nickname. I got a good response and had a lot of fun. Beginning last year...
